David. Yes. And did anyone actually watch the video before commenting? He says, “the afterlife is statistically inevitable.” The concept of quantum “now” gives real meaning/potential to “creative visualization” as a way of manifesting a more desirable future. If all potentials exist, as all science seems to be saying now…like static before being organized into a pattern, like a signal on TV brings the chaos static into a “picture”…then then live each moment as if (the quality of your) life depended on it. Because it does.
When you said yes to David what exactly were you referring to in his statement? yes David was right that your article contradicts Lanza video? What did you mean by saying yes? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question. But it just made me curious.
But what I got from the video is that our consciousness makes the universe exist, makes life and death exist, and so technically the afterlife doesn’t exist because we never lived in the first place because its an illusion made by our consciousness. But since its a data based universe with infinite possibilities existing again is inevitable? Because ours and others consciousness dictates it so? Am I understanding this correctly?

The “ether” is also known as the “aether”, or “nithor”, or “nether”. More ancient spellings of these words are “Gehenna”, or “Tartar”, or “Sheol”, or “Hell”. The words “Sheol” and “nether” are used in biblical scriptures to refer to a place where the angels that did not keep their original position are kept. You really want to sent your “self” to this “space”?

Our bodies die and our concious awareness with it. Religions ideas of an afterlife all originate from pagan allegory, the glorious become famous and live on in the minds of the living = Valhalla. Verses the inglorious who die and are forgotten or remembered as an a$$ hat = Hell. It’s more to do with posthumous fame and infamy, than actual life.
There is nothing to fear in death, nothing at all. To be afraid of death is the same as being afraid of nothing.

Quantum means QUALITIVE, something you count. Math only. Math can’t prove anything that lays beyond 4th dimension. At least not by people, we exist in 4 dimensions and won’t be able to apprehend even 5th, even if would, no more than 5th that’s it.
I do not believe “rational” science can create a paradigm for an afterlife because they have not formally identified “why” life lives or the significant difference between the state of life and lifelessness. My latest post goes into more detail.
