Indigo Children are of many age groups and many are adults. Most have abilities in seeing the future, some can heal, others have abilities as if someone tells them (warns them of certain situations) and how to act or not act on an event, some can change the direction of a coming event.
These people can be influenced just as most people can by those who have interest for themselves. The special ability or abilities start when they are children and if they develop their gift beyond whispers, glimpses of future event, they would be very valuable.
My thoughts on the indigos being threatened to comply, was via emotional blackmail, ie: we’ll kill your parents, that sort of thing.

N. Morgan, I believe you are on to something here… I see many people that I would classify as Indigo be brainwashed into thinking they are completely insane if they do not understand their gifts. Most of them accept it and comply by taking horrific medications that completely put a stop to their abilities due to fear of what they don’t understand. The symptoms of a spiritual awakening (which often can suddenly hit a not-yet-awaken Indigo like a semi-truck smashing into concrete) are very similar to the symptoms of most mental illnesses. They are often very empathic which causes emotional roller coasters anyway. If they do not harness their abilities or learn to understand them, they are an easy target to emotionally manipulate. Many people have the same abilities as Indigos, but our government has done whatever they can to suppress these abilities (Fluoride, etc.).
But I also do agree that when an Indigo realizes their full potential, they cannot be convinced otherwise. They are fully aware of what is right and wrong.
They also have an inherent instinct of right and wrong and cast off wrong like the plague. You are also correct that this trait is often found in one or both parents. In addition, many are currently being taught advanced “things” by the Hybrids, all of which are good. I will leave it as “things” because if you are not one, or do not have one, then it’s none of your damn business. These children are being groomed to be the future leaders of Tamia=Earth because your adult population has made such a complete disaster out of the entire planet. What is it with you reporters alerting about “dangerous children.” Is there some sort of agenda on this now?
Not only can these kids NOT be manipulated, but the reproductions they suffer for every action that isn’t par are severe. They learn from a very young age they don’t get away with bad decisions like the people around them do and they hurt for other people so bad they would rather die than do harm to someone else. My son was playing in the garden yesterday everything was normal; a nice sunny day, slight warm breeze from the South East, the birds were singing, the neighbour was out in her garden and I could hear her radio, she was listening to a football match on a fairly low volume, a plane could be faintly heard tracing a long slow arc high overhead.
All of a sudden my son began to walk in slow motion, he looked as though he was struggling to walk forward and was making what I can only describe as a bubbling sound from his throat which sounded like a form of speech.
