Agreed. The Flat Earth model cannot explain a bright sunset – rather what you would expect is for the sun to fade into darkness well above the horizon. It also does not explain asteroids creating craters on both the moon and the earth, nor the round shape of earths shadow when we see a partial lunar eclipse. In a globe earth model science tells us the earth spins and the sun doesn’t move and in a flat earth model, the sun moves and the earth doesn’t. So what’s the difference? Does it matter which one moves in regards to time zones? There is still 24 hours in a day. Think it through and you will see it.

Gravity is a cosmologists invention that only “works” on a heliocentric model. They say that this is what holds the water on the earth as well as all of us. Probably because they don’t understand centrifugal force which at 1,000 mph would throw that water and us all the way to pluto (if it existed). Hi, anonymous. On a ball earth, you are correct about the centrifugal and gravity acting together to give us our weight. With that in mind, if you weighed yourself at the north pole (very slow motion) and at the equator (nearly 1000 mph), you should have two very different weights (much heavier at north pole, much lighter at equator). But that is not the reality.
Water should be affected in the same way. Centrifugal force should make water bulge around the equator, but it doesn’t.
As for wind, how can we ever have a day when there is no breeze at all? I know ball earthers keep saying gravity keeps it in place, but I don’t buy it. Air is the most gentle thing to move. It takes almost nothing to move air, yet we are spinning at nearly 1000mph and hurdling through space at 67,000mph and yet there are days when not a hair on your head moves standing outside.
I know a lot of people throw around insults, but I prefer to give answers in hopes someone will actually listen. Cheers!

That experiment was repeated several times later with the same results. Then Einstein pondered the problem for about 10 years and came up with a new theory to explain why it didn’t work. But they still can’t prove that the earth moves….. As I said before, they will NEVER prove the Big Bang because it simply didn’t happen. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Until mankind bows to his pride and accepts this, he will always be searching for the answer which is staring him in the face.
You need to learn the discipline of Calculus, Trigonometry, Partial Differential Equation, etc to understand the basic Celestial Mechanics. It has nothing to do with God.

It seems quite obvious, based on a LOT of posts here supporting the insane idea of a flat disc Earth, that the majority, at least who post here, are less intelligent than a bucket of cow snot.

By the wayt you may want to hear also what scientist and spiritual leader Sarkar said about earth on ab 1960-80; Wherever there is any order or system, it must be circular. Take for instance the atomic system. In an atom there is a nucleus and around the nucleus move so many electrons. Bigger than the atomic system is the global system of the earth with the moon moving around the earth. Bigger than the global system is the solar system: the sun is the nucleus and all other objects and entities are revolving around the nucleus. Sarkar also say that each and every creature is moving around Cosmic/Supreme Consciousness.
If the stars and planets had not followed their respective movements, time would never have existed. I have told you that Bhaskaracarya first discovered that the earth was round, and not Copernicus. I just watched the first 6 minutes and see that the presenter obviously does not understand several things.
1. The fact that you can see further as you rise from the surface, and the horizon is always equidistant in all directions indicates that we are on a sphere. If you went high enough to see ‘past’ the earth, you’d see what NASA shows us.
2. Nature’s most efficient form is a sphere, see bubbles and droplets when taken out of gravity effect.
3. We (anyone) can SEE spheres of planets just by looking in a telescope
4. The relationship of water on a sphere that is under the control of gravity makes the water ALWAYS find it’s lowest level ON THE SPHERE, not horizontal. It only ‘seems’ horizontal because of the scale.
5. Railroad and canal engineers do NOT have to take into account ‘true’ horizontal because ALL physical material is ‘level’ with respect to the distance from the sphere’s center to the sphere’s surface.
6. Engineers that DO have to take into account TRUE LEVEL (horizontal) are those that design microwave towers (which need to be in line of sight to each other). As you travel across the prairies, look at those towers. You will see the ‘receivers’ located high (to catch the beamed signal) and the senders’ located low, to compensate for the curvature of the earth!
7. Sailors KNOW that the curvature of the earth exists as they watch land (and other ships) drop below the horizon.
I could go on, but this has taken enough of my time.
Nothing you can say will work with these fools. I can tell them that
I can sit on my back porch and watch ships go over the horizon
all day long and they would come up with some lame excuse in
their minds as to why they disappear over the horizon (which
would be impossible in their model of a flat earth) and none
of it matters to them. What we are dealing with here is some
new kind of “branch off” of humankind. These things could not
rationalize their way out of a paper bag.
