The Communist in Chief visits my neck of the woods today, to say I feel a tremor in the Force is definitely understatement, moreover it explains the upset stomach I’ve suffered the past few hours. Of course he is speaking at a Liberal college (Hudson Valley Community College) about the economy and his plans to “improve” it despite all the bad things he” inherited”, I’m just guessing that phrase will be on the teleprompter somewhere. I’, also sure a “spread the wealth” message will be in there somewhere.

I’ll be watching the reception at Albany International to see who genuflects best towards the “Grand High Pooh-Bah.” My bet is that it will be a close call between Schumer and Andrew Cuomo, Schumer being the old dog of the Liberal fringe here in NY and Cuomo looking for a presidential endorsement in the wake of Obama telling Patterson he should step aside. I almost have a shred of respect for Patterson by thumbing his nose at Obama and stating he’ll run anyway, almost, if it wasn’t for the fact he’s almost destroyed this state’s already fragile financial base and kept morale in the toilet statewide.

Quick sidebar here, Governor Patterson has asked every branch of State employees to sacrifice their raises, however, there are two groups in the state that he has asked or in one case rightfully demanded nothing from; the first is the overly bloated administration level in all departments and secondly, state inmates, if anything inmate programs have been added to and in NY we even pay our inmates to do nothing, it’s called idle pay, I kid you not!

The thing that really bothers me today is that Obama is hesitating on sending troops to Afghanistan, correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t this a campaign promise, to go to Afghanistan where we “should have been all along” and get the war on terror, or whatever its politically correct name is now, got started? I’d think this would be a no brainer and therefore relatively simple decision for Obama. Thus my aforementioned bother, exactly which campaign promise has he followed through with yet? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he lied a lot during the campaign trail (say it isn’t so). I’m sorry did I just accuse Obama of lying, should I now be officially tarred and feathered for my blasphemy?

I’m having a problem with the hope and change thing, I’m not hoping for change I’m trying to put it into motion, and what I’m going to change is our executive branch at the least and our legislative branch as well if all goes as planned.

So I have a request, I’m looking for those of you who have a Liberal state executive and or a Liberal controlled state legislature who are living in a state that is doing well both economically and has high morale. And to be fair, I’d like to hear from those who have a Conservative state executive and or a Conservative state legislature who can say their state is in trouble in any way shape or form and I will also take any opposite testimonies, try and support any complaints and or kudos with facts and not emotion.
