Who Has The Best Poker Face

With all the drama once again the threat of a government shutdown surrounded with a bill to continue tax cuts for the middle class with attached the unemployment benefits to continue for our jobless the poker game begins.

Knowing this is exactly that, just a game of politics that who will benefit the most from this deal. While knowing John Boehner and friends show much hatred for President Obama they try always to apply as much pressure upon him to make him swing to their rock show, Adding more poison pills into this bill making it hard to digest for anyone to want to pass a bill that would be a deal from hell.

Our President when on his campaign trail in 2008 had a fabulous slogan of YES WE CAN, but somehow this seems to have turned into maybe we can if congress doesn’t make me sway away from my theme song.

We should be educated enough to know that this is about which one of the parties come out with the highest cards to win the game. But also it’s about bluffing your opponent making him fold his hand.

So if our President would just stand on his slogan from past during his campaign that made the American people believe in him so strongly and yes we did go out and vote for we wanted this yes we can to be real not just a political game as it’s seem to be appearing to all at the moment.

The fact of the matter is that when trying to pass any bill it’s always a deal making procedure because neither wants to look as they gave away the house without paying a high price all want to show as the winner.

As in business there are always negotiations for the best deal or as in a job when asking for a raise in salary. Same as in our government but the outcome could become greater or more devastating to the American people while our politicians play this political game with the future of our country and the American people.

Think of it as Wall Street the hedge fund managers watching the stocks trading when they go down bidding for the highest price. And also as the speculators on Wall St they make sure the price becomes more valuable that it’s worth.

Again as our politicians play this game of poker Russian roulette of sort with the lives of the American people they seem to have forgotten why they were elected in a political office. Now their goal isn’t for us the game has changed for the wealth of this country while the poor continue to suffer.

And if you look to who is running for our next election 2012 you see how radical our Republican Party has become with all for them and their wealthy friends and nothing left for the rest who might be poor.

Now I’m not just attacking one party because there are some Democrats that have starting singing a different song with a different drum and theme for their own hand of card that they receive in this same political game of poker.

We have illegal wars homeless people and many that are starving in our streets but these politicians are playing games while the rest of us wait in the wings.

It’s high time they stop their per-school games grow up remember why they were elected in office. For it’s not for their own self-greed but to help this country and the American people who believed in their word that now seem to have turned into illusion or a fairytale we once read once upon a time.

WE THE PEOPLE OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE NOT BY THE WEALTH OF THE POLITICS FOR THEIR POLITICANS
