As I hear all the talk about Afghanistan the violence becoming more engaged since the burning of the holy book the Quran, and Chris Matthews passing judgment on something” that the people in Afghanistan consider the burning of their holy book to be a horrible carelessness appalling, act on the part of our military to even suggest it has been done by mistake, when knowing everyone knows what the Quran means to a Muslim in this country, it’s the same as our bible or prayer book to a Christian or Baptist it’s their bible as they believe.

How could Mr. Matthews pass judgment on anyone person of how they should feel or not feel about a holy book or whether or not they should protest in the street. What right does he have to say they should have other places to go or be?

When in fact the people of Afghanistan have always fought in the mountains for their own survival, and freedom in their own country.

Afghanistan fought a war with the Soviets during December 1979 and lasted until February 1989, many suffered died but the Afghans never gave up and fought till the end without defeat. The Soviet soldiers did many things in Afghanistan. But they could never control all parts of Afghanistan. Several Afghan groups continued to attack and fight with the Soviet troops, with the end result the Afghanistan war being won by the people in Afghanistan.

So my point being is what the hell makes us believe we could win defeat these people, knowing the Russians couldn’t? There is also another factor here that no one is considering the weapons they are using to fight back against us with are our own weapons that we have given to them in over the years fighting back against Russia.

We went into Afghanistan on the threats from 9/11 the invasion on our soil by Bin Laden. President Bush decided that when this terrorist was in sight he let Pakistan try to capture him of course knowing this never happened.

Then as time passed President Bush wasn’t very concerned or interested in finding Bin Laden in fact I quote his words were (haven’t heard from him lately Bush: “I’m not that concerned with bin Laden”,) I don’t know what he waiting for maybe an invite for dinner or a gala affair not sure but clearly it wasn’t about catching the main character in this attack that this man clearly was part of creating upon the American soil.

If another country were fighting on our soil with military stationed here and burned any type of our holy book or historical history such as our Declaration of Independence and other documents claiming it to be a mistake accident do you believe we would take this sitting down relaxed or would be up in arms protesting?

Thinking about how much our candidates in the Republican Party have made religion and social issues such a factor in the race for the White House I don’t believe this would be handled as peacefully as Chris Matthews believe the Afghanistan people should be excepting this horrific act done unto their holy book the Quran.

And let’s not forget about Conservatives encourage (or ignore) demonizing of Islam — and then claim to be infuriated by Pastor Jones

 How right around September 11^th the anniversary of the worst day or American peoples life this hatred of a mosque start once again and this man wants to create havoc ignite more war upon the people instead of trying to do as what Jesus believed in which would be peace unto all treat all as you would yourself.

This  should have been an opportunity for reflection on the national mood not of Muslim-bashing bigotry — and especially how that mood was conjured — instead became an occasion to preen and pretend that the little band of idiotic rubes in Florida could not possibly have been inspired by the “sophisticated” critics of Islam on Fox News, talk radio and the Internet, we don’t need more hatred we need to become more intolerant of others bring peace harmony into all religions of faith even if it’s not of our own knowing were all of one God up above.

In fact we should respect all holy books and or historical properties of others in all countries since they have history behind them for everyone. We shouldn’t ever discriminate against anyone who isn’t as the same as we are of one God with many different faiths ways of praying in other religions

 We need be more tolerant of others that don’t look as we do or pray as we do We are all of one God under the Heavens the stars that shine so very bright to guide us home to the land where peace harmony will be for every person no matter your faith or religion of choice we end up with one God
