The Do Nothing Congress and Summer Recess Coming

While knowing that congress in more known for doing nothing and being paid $84.oo dollars an hour for their lack of performance in passing any type of bill that would create a better economy in this country or for our global posturing with other countries.

I’d love to know where the average middle class or poor person could get a job that pays $174,000 a year plus nine weeks’ vacation without doing any real work for it. John Boehner

explains that he has been doing lots to compromise with our President but as we know this is a falsehood. President Obama has given congress a jobs bill to pass last September and again twice in October knowing only parts were passed through. Leaving out the infrastructure part of this bill which would be road repairs bridges ETC that would put millions of men, women back into the work place helping our economy rebuilding our recovery from the economic crises we suffered under the last administration Bush/Cheney.

There is also the student loan bill to keep the interest rate down for all student who apply for loans to attend a college or university, still nothing has congress done even on this bill knowing will expire on July 1^st. this also goes along with the underwater homeowners to be able to refinance their mortgages again all this would help the economy plus many of our middle class income who are suffering deeply from the loss of income into their house hold.

President Obama has urged the do nothing congress to pass these bill before leaving for summer recess knowing it is highly unlikely this will be done. Since congress has been very forward upfront of their intensions of not passing any bills with the election being so near wanting the economy to fail making our President look bad.

We do know that businesses have created 4.3 million jobs in the past 27 months

as President Obama said this week since we began to recover from the worst economic crisis since the last depression. But without the jobs bill being passed it will make it extremely harder to grow a stronger healthier recovery.

Also there was the lily Ledbetter pay equity bill that congress was sure to undercut obstruct make sure there weren’t enough votes to pass it. What shocked me the most there were women in congress that voted against it they must not care of anyone but their own political safety in the house, or so it seems?

Most people don’t understand women make 77cents on ever dollar then women of color or Latino only make 59cents on ever dollar this is disgraceful when most women after working a full time job must return home and continue another job which revolves around their home life taking care of the family. Their job is never finished, so why shouldn’t they be paid as much as a man in that same job position?

President Obama released a new campaign ad this week trying to get support from congress to pass his bipartisan plan to create jobs immediately again this isn’t a new and bold plan it’s the same as in September and again in October knowing that congress will do nothing to pass any bill that will help this country or improve the economic status knowing it will help our sitting President with his re-election.

All have heard President Obama give our Congress a to do list To Do:

Pass legislation to help hard working small business owners create jobs by giving them a tax credit for new hires and tax relief for investments they make. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and create two out of every three new jobs in America. They spur economic development in communities across our country and give millions of families and individuals the opportunity to achieve the American dream.

Now we know this means nothing to congress or any of the Republicans their main goal is to see President Obama to fail. It’s more important to the House to defeat the President in November than passing any proposal that would create one million new jobs which leaves teachers, construction workers, and fire men, police men so many others out of work, only because of their greed for power.

Mitch McConnell has said they would do what they must to make President Obama look bad since the super-rich deal with our GOP the super Pac’s donating much funds into their special interest of defeating President Obama. The Republicans are sabotaging our economy everything that could help our countries recovery just to put blame on the President or try to make it appear as it’s his entire fault.

But what some don’t realize is that senate did pass a jobs bill by a simple majority vote but now with the filibuster this bill was considered dead on arrival. This is playing dirty underhanded but know no matter what they will prevent any type of legislative victory for the President and or a bill that could help the American middle class poor.

ban they have struk a deal on Thursday which throws out the new rules that would have band sales of the traditional incandescent light bulbs beginning next year. Maybe this is more important to them as they have been passing bills which have nothing to do with our recovery as a whole.

In fact they have another bill that has passed to cut funds to the poor women in the District Columbia by banning government funded abortions. They are attacking anything that would help our middle class and the poor plus people of color and Latino.

Our President Claim congress could pass legislation to help many states prevent more layoffs stopping obstruction with the Governors passing bill stripping away jobs in their state. President Obama has already given 17 tax cut for small business making it easier for them to hire more help creating more jobs.

What we do know is that Congress is at its lowest popularity rate ever in history no one person is happy with their consistency of doing nothing. They pretend to care of the people when in fact it’s all just a conspiracy to make our President look very bad in the people’s eyes.

This house of Congress clearly has no intentions of passing anything before summer recess for it’s all about the money where it comes from, how it goes into their accounts of special interest projects defeating this sitting President. The only game they are willing to play in the casino they work in is filled with deadly venom that would surely kill our President; there is no compromising with a rattle snake or the demon himself.

So were at a check mate it appears with nothing being passed the people will suffer mostly of the middle class poor our seniors and even the students now because of this deadly game the House of Congress continues to play for their self-greed of power wealth.

What we don’t want is for our President to cave in or make anymore compromises for he has done his share it’s time now for him to stand firm use his weapons his poker face and be the winner at the end of this Election Race. We the people will have his back as long as he stays on track remembering the lost promises of that 1^st campaign trail we all walked along by his side now were still here for the second ride we stand with pride knowing he must keep the PROMISSES he has made to the people who now have gave their all made the calls.

If President Obama wants to win he must stand up to this DO NOTHING CONGRESS don’t let them put any of us into the pit with the rattle snakes while they sit and do nothing watching us all pass from their venom of evil doing nothing as we become more invisible.
