In recent months, the media has been flooded with reports about the high unemployment rate that many new architecture grads will face, which currently hovers at around 13.9% for architecture majors. For those who have always dreamed of a career in architecture, these numbers might not prompt a career change but may necessitate spending more time seeking out information, advice, and support from those in the larger architecture community. One easy and painless way to do that is by reading and commenting on architecture-focused blogs, which can offer inspiration and insight into the field on a daily basis.
We had previously published a list on this topic last year, but we decided to give it an update as new blogs have come out and old ones have gone by the wayside since we picked our favorites. This updated list offers a range of different kinds of resources for architecture students, from news to information about big firms to photographs of the most cutting-edge architecture projects out there, creating a solid resource that can help students excel in their courses and beyond.
