Politicians Sexual Scandals We Know of Since 1796

If you’re not famous or in the political arena no one would care of whom you might be sleeping with or playing around with outside of your marriage.

But when you’re in a the spot light under such scrutiny your every move being watched even as what you might be eating for dinner, then you shouldn’t be playing with a pan filled of hot oil knowing it will create a fire.

Being a politician makes your life quite open so people look for every little detail to hang you with on the other side of what you might represent.

Even when we think all are consenting adults in a very discrete dangerous engagement it could turn out to be misunderstood with breaches of ethics turning a simple roll in the hey with unproven crimes or a cover up SCANDAL with much publicity when you’re in the political arena with all eyes watching your every move.

I’ve decided to research how far back our politicians went with Sexual scandals mainly because our news media focuses on it so much when a politician is running for a political position or in a political seat.

And of course with the news of Anthony Weiner trying to make a comeback for a run at the seat for Mayor in New York knowing this will stir up all the old news of his sexting on Twitter.

I for one won’t be making any speculation of what the outcome would be but I do believe he could be a front runner for the Mayoral position in New York, knowing we’ve had enough of Bloomberg as a New Yorker myself.

What Mr. Weiner did was wrong I’m not making excuses for his action nor do I condone his action while marred with a pregnant wife. But as you will read in this article he won’t be the 1^st to have had extra marital affairs while in a political arena, and won’t be the last this I’m quite sure of.

Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton had an affair with Maria Reynolds while both were yes married to other people not to each other, this was in 1796

President Tomas Jefferson also was accused of having a child out of wedlock who was his slave Sally Hemming in 1802

President James Buchanan had a scandalous alleging homosexual affair in the year some say 1850s

President Warren Harding while married also had affairs between the years of 1921-1923

President John F. Kennedy linked to a number of affairs while married to his wife Jacquelyn 1962-1963

Let’s not forget the Anita Hill/ Clarence Thomas testimony in 1991 and yet he still sit upon our Supreme Court making important decision that will and can affect our life, future of laws.

So you see where I’ve gone with this doesn’t matter if your Democrat or Republican, Independent as there are more I could have listed here but it would become boring not only to you as a reader but to me also as writing it.

The French believe entirely differently than we do on how they conduct their affairs outwardly in the open, this type of situation that we consider scandalous is very common way of conducting themselves with other women/men. They don’t believe an affair would be considered a crime of any sorts that would hamper their political tittle or status in the political arena.

Which in some ways it does prevent lots of divorces for some who would go along with this type of life style saving the money you’d spend on a lawyer, or the expense of the tittle you worked very hard to achieve.

We all remember President Bill Clinton’s sexual scandal how congress tried to impeach him for oral sex, if he hadn’t been our President not one of us would care; only his wife Hillary and she took it quite well as a fine lady she is.

So as Weiner has yes made it public of his intentions to be back in the spot light consider a Mayoral position running for our Mayor of New York you might think of all these others who have had yes SCANDALOUS AFFAIRS.

Remembering what they do in their private life is their business unless it affects us we have no right to judge them on their sexual affairs, since if they weren’t in the political arena we wouldn’t even give it a second thought of who they are playing around with.

Most important is how they run their district or if as the President how they run this country, what their policies would be, and most of all their morals of life in general speaking of humanity equality in a fair way for all.

Huma Abedin is a fine lady she forgave her husband so I believe if this smart women who by the way works for Hillary Clinton realizes people can make mistakes we must give people a second chance in life to correct the wrong they have committed.

If Anthony Weiner hasn’t committed any crimes here why would we give him a life sentence keeping him out of a political arena, when in fact he was a great congress men for his district, yes he did make a fatal mistake but I don’t know anyone that hasn’t made mistakes or is perfect at all they do in life.

I’m not condoning what Weiner did it was disgusting disgracing his wife the unborn child she carried, but I will give him another chance to prove he can undo correct the wrong make a difference in our state of New York for all people here.

I don’t believe we should judge a book by the cover we need to read every page in-between before we give a sentence to the entirety of what the end result might be.

Whenever there is propaganda rhetoric of a politician sexual scandal you know the other side blows off what they have also done in the past as if it has self-destructed from the time capsule they stored it in.

Knowing each and every man/women in all political parties has had their share of sexual scandals in some form of sorts. No one has the right to throw stones when living in a glass house
