Tameria Green Burial Delayed Over Funeral Bill, Is Finally Laid to Rest

On Sunday evenings I try to catch up and look at news though out the week and pick a few stories to talk about here on my blog. This story comes out of the Detroit Free Press. Seems Detroit has become a front page story for all sorts of different reasons. To see economic apocalypse you go to this city and you will find what you are looking for.
This story here really is an example of how far down we are really becoming as a nation. It’s hard to believe these things happen, they don’t get much attention which is one of the reasons why I am a blogger, to give attention to those stories that are so important, yet fall by the way side.
This 8 year old little girl was murdered. Her name is Tameria Green, and her funeral ceremony and burial had been delayed over a dispute over the funeral bill. Not only that the little girls mother has been charged with the crime. Semeria Greene, 26, has been charged in the Dec. 30 death. I mean isn’t it bad enough you have to bury a child who has just been murdered by her own mother, but to have to deal with a dispute over money before this child is laid to rest! I was shocked by this.source
Funeral home director Helon Rahman donated a $2,000 casket. Friday morning, Rahman said she was not concerned about the payment as she headed to the cemetery on Ford Road. Thank God for those people who still have a soul and heart left in this world that has grown so cold, we have to worry that an innocent child won’t be laid to rest after her mother murders her.
Not only is this story heartbreaking, the little girls siblings seen this woman murder their 8 year old sister!Tameria’s 7-year-old brother, the filing says, “does not understand that Tameria is dead,” while her 4-year-old brother “witnessed his sister’s murder and continues to re-enact the murder.” That brother, according to an amended petition DHS filed last week, told authorities his mother “had a big knife and cut his sister and his mother killed Ti-Ti.”source
She is facing felony murder and first-degree child abuse charges in Tameria’s death. Greene reportedly was living with Jovan Mull, the father of three of her children. It’s unclear whether Mull was home at the time of the stabbing.
Mull told authorities Wednesday that in the evening before the stabbing, Greene had a knife in her hand when she chased him out of her home at the Martin Luther King Apartments about 11:30 p.m., according to the petition. source
I mean it doesn’t get much worse then that. Green is in the Wayne County Jail. A hearing is scheduled for Jan. 24. These kids are the ones that will pay the tab in every way for this one. It’s so sad to see the world being shaped and destroyed only leaving a waste land of sorrow where the American dream once lived. I just hope and pray this little girl is in a way better place then where she was. Even with the mother bought to justice there are NO GOOD OUTCOMES here just a lot of tears and pain ahead in the aftermath of this family.

The grieving family and friends have to perform the last rites of a dead person, and they have to gather the funeral materials such as cremation urns that are meant for preserving the memories of the resting soul.
Funeral homes are required to be well maintained around the clock, because death never provides any notifications of arrival. It is the responsibility of all of us to take of cleanliness of funeral homes so that all the last rites could be carried out in the right manner.
