Post (NON) Apocalypse – Now What ?

Well , well well ….. Here we are into the second month of 2013 . The “pending doom”, so well publicized , behinds us .

What now !?

What will we do with our boring lives now that we have no peril in the windshield racing upon us ?

The vague, and all to ambiguous “end to the Mayan Calendar” has amassed a fortune for Hollywood , and recognition for bloggers who would otherwise be holding cardboard signs on the streets of Manhattan , ” The End is Nigh”

What’s next ? What will the Marketing geniuses do to keep the interest , and fear up ? Will the pyramid of control keep their grip on the debt slaves ?

Hollywood has to have a formula . Meaning ; they need to bank off the success of a blockbuster as much as possible with the same plot, a couple of different players, a mild twist on the story , treatment etc. This is essential in order to make up for the losses from the big flops that occure for using the same ” Insiders” over and over again .

Bloggers and, false prophetic ” wanna bee’s” , need something to complain about , and something that will provide the fuel and emotion to tell people to run to the hills , be safe , and I love you , please donate or buy my book , or buy this nasty food in a bucket that will keep you alive when the zombies attack . So ! Main stream allows Bloggers to exist , because they exist . It reminds me of me and other sports fans , in our forties, who sit in our chairs insisting “we called the better play” .

We are “ALL” miss guided by generations of social grooming . Pro Sports and Hollywood have become nothing more than a distraction controlling the lives of the hopeless . Main stream media and politics work effortlessly to drain as much out of you as they can , and call it a ” career” , While Big business and bankers pull the strings laughing at all of us .

If we can no longer look forward to an unknown end date , you know , the infamous , ” Dec 21 , 2012 ” , What will we be told to look forward to next ? How can we lead a normal “free life” , when we are not guided by something as devastatingly disastrous as the end of the Mayan Calendar ?

Here is a stretch for the imagination …..

How about actually , ” Living a normal free life ” ??????

What the H _ E double hockey stick does that mean ?

While we are anxiously waiting for the next focus point for “our” fears and “their” pockets , why don’t we take a long hard look at ourselves and our world and grab it by the horns ? Stop letting them grab us by the ” You know what’s ” and think for ourselves .

As much as I may have picked on Bloggers and alternative media , in truth , it is the answer to freeing us from the controls of main stream media . Despite the garbage spewed my some , the truth , now a days , can only be found through alternative media . So no matter how wrong I may think someone is for warning people to run to the hills because they had a dream about a one eyed midget calling himself the “other Goliath” , I am thankful they have a platform , because I have the choice to make up my own mind regarding what they are saying . I am not bound by “political correctness” or the threat of being an outcast for lack of the “perfect patriotic view” just like my neighbors .

No matter how many negative ways we can look at the Internet , and social media , The positives out weigh them ten fold . Because like life itself , The Internet is all about choices . We choose if our experience will enrich our lives or create more addictions and destructive elements . We are in control of the mouse . We are in control of the next ” Big Thing ” .

If they say , ” Aliens are coming , aliens are coming , One fell from the sky and hit me on the head !” I say , well that’s all fine and good sir , but until one falls from the sky and hits me on the head , I will search for something positive to occupy my thinking , but I will keep my eyes open .

Think for yourself , don’t be lead by a leash from an evil or deceitful agenda . Live your life based on “your” agenda . Create your own reality , take charge of your emotions , don’t let them create your reality and dictate your emotions . Evolution of humanity is a mind set . If we can truly elevate ourselves above and beyond “caveman” mentality , we can evolve as a worthy race of beings . Until then , we are all lab rats in the big blue laboratory called “Earth” .
