Just saw the video from the link on Drudge. This guys got some massive BALLS and I only hope he took steps to protect himself from what’s probably coming his way. And yes rtmichigan, we DO need more people like him to speak out about what our government is doing to it’s own Citizens. Man,,,,,,,things are really heating up for this summer, aren’t they??????
What I find most surprising about these developments is that so many people are surprised.
What did folks think the “Patriot Act” and “FISA” and “NDAA” and so on were all about?
What did folks think that the NSA building a huge data center in Utah is about? The NSA has openly bragged that the center will store multiple “zettabytes” of information. Come on, get out your scientific calculators, the ones that can do exponents. “Zetta” is 10^21, one sextillion. What on earth can possibly be done with that much storage?
Divided equally (of course it wouldn’t be) that’s roughly one terabyte (10^12) for every soul on the face of the planet. That’s 1000 gigabytes for you. The NSA could store so-called “meta data” for every phone call you ever made, every item or service you ever purchased, every place you ever went, every email you ever sent, etc., for your whole life and still have 999 gigabytes empty.
There’s only one thing that amount of storage can be used for – storage of actual content. The only conclusion can be that the NSA is not just storing your “meta data”; they’re storing the actual content.
