That’ll be because c70% of Americans are Christians who define evil as equality, and not having the right to own a gun so they can kill people. Otherwise known as ‘Oxymorons r Us’.
Why is it that every christian I have ever met has been nothing but a good person, possibly ignorant, naive, and a little on the high-and-mighty side, but the only thing they fight for is their religion and human life ( whether or not that life is even cogniscient yet). Do you like to slam children that believe in Santa Claus too? If it takes going to mass once a week and believing that there was a rulebook written by the creator of the universe specifically for them, what’s the problem? Don’t distract from the real problem. Politicians are ruining this country, not the religious. In fact, our country was built upon religion, remember the puritans? Or have we completely forgotten our roots?
It is our country’s faith in god that is keeping us from imploding. According to the bible, (I’m not religious) Christians believe evil was given a specific amount of time to try and “win” but it will always be destined to failure. It is the christian belief that they have already “won” so to speak that is holding the chain of a full blown revolt. Maybe instead of being intolerant, learn to be accepting and grateful for thy neighbors failure to shoot you with said gun for not believing the same thing as them. Just be grateful your Christians aren’t radical Islamic militants who would behead you and drink from your gushing throat-hole because you wouldn’t accept “Allah” as the one true god.
Land of the free. Just remember that.
