Cop Shoots And Kills Sunday School Teacher In Church Parking Lot For Rolling Up Car Window Says Witness
An eyewitness to a fatal police shooting in Culpeper, Virginia is contradicting the State Police version of the story.
Kris Buchele says he saw a Culpeper Town Police officer shoot 54-year-old Patricia Cook to death in the Epiphany Catholic School parking lot at around 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9, according to a WUSA report.

Buchele is a carpenter who was working on the house next door. He says he heard loud arguing outside and looked through a window where he had a clear view of the school parking lot. Cook was in her Jeep Wrangler .
State police say Cook rolled up the window, catching the officer’s arm inside, and then dragged him.
Buchele says it didn’t happen that way. He describes an encounter which looked and sounded like the officer shooting a person a point blank range, not because he feared for his life, but because the woman did not obey his order to stop rolling up the window.
“He was right next to the vehicle. He had one hand on the door handle and one hand on his weapon. And she was rolling the window up. And they were exiting out of the parkng lot.
The window was half way up he said ‘stop or I’ll shoot.’ I really didn’t think he was going to do it. But she got the window all the way up and that’s when he shot. And then she took a left out of the parking lot here and he stepped out in the street and fired five more times,” said Buchele.

If his arm was trapped, he’d have some evidence of same to back up his story.
The story of the witness is credible in that it makes sense. We know he had his gun out, and it makes sense he was trying to get into the car by trying to open it. That leaves him without a third hand to get trapped in the window. It doesn’t preclude that he may have reached inside, but he and the witness are completely at odds on this point.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, if his arm was trapped, how did it become untrapped? Once it was not trapped, where was the treat to his life? If no threat to his life, where’s the justification for firing 5 more shots at the departing vehicle? It’s not like it was coming at him.
The five shots the witness says were fired at the fleeing car are easily verified as true or untrue. If true, the only way the cop can come up with a convincing story is to say he was trapped, fired through the window, which shattered the glass, was somehow released by said shattered glass, and did not choose to shoot at a fleeing car, but instead continued firing in one continuous event.
I wouldn’t want to be that officer. I don’t like the story, particulary with it being morning, a 54 year old sunday school teacher and big bad Culpepper VA, not exactly a hot bed of violent crime.
How old is the officer?
After reading this story I have a few questions! Was the woman in the car armed? If she was not armed then the officer would have no fear of harm. If he was worrying about the car leaving he can always shoot out the tires. This whole story is just not believable.

Three years is certainly not justice, but at least he didn’t get off scott free, like most times when a cop needlessly kills someone. Thankfully, there was two eye witnesses to the crime. The Cook family will now be suing the ex-cop in civil court, though the man’s wife declared in court prior to the sentencing that they have already lost everything. Cook’s 62-year-old husband died of natural causes seven months after his wife was killed.
It’s hard not to feel sorry for the slain woman’s family, as well as the ex-cop’s wife, who is also a victim of her husband’s foolish arrogance.

Would you step in harms way for $9.00 an hour? That is what MOST junior NCO’s average pay is while fighting in the middle east. Coming from a family where just about every male for the past 100 years served in the military, personally know dozens of LA Sheriff’s and Port Police, work part time at a SoCal pistol range…I have to say that you are a complete idiot. The police here who have military experience are by far the most professional, level headed, and least trigger-happy. Seeing combat first hand has been an important part of their behavior because they have been in the kind of situations that test a persons ability to make rational judgement when in an extremely tense situation.
The problematic cops I’ve come across were always young rookies with power trips who thought the military and low pay and no benefits were “beneath them”. Every single illegal officer involved shooting in recent memory here in Los Angeles was done by non-military types.
And before anyone says Christopher Dorner…. he was in the navy, was not a combat veteran, and the case is still highly questionable.

so called warrior law enforcement need to be taken down a peg or two. This is not an isolated incident of police use of unecessary force in the last few years. In the past year it has been getting steadily more frequent. Maybe cops shouldn’t have anythign more lethal than a rubber bullet and a taser. But they have been misuing the tasers too. There’s been at least one death in use of taser. What is needed is more psychological checks of so called law enforcement.
This story happened over a year ago in early 2012. Since then her widower husband passed away unfortunately and the lawsuit was continued by her brother. The cop was sentenced to 3 years. Here is the link:

I looked it up, the pig got three years so this means he will likely do 12 months. Unusual for that to happen but there was a witness. Without a witness the pig would still be on the streets killing people.
There is only one thing that needs to be done here, and if it is not done then we as Americans deserve for these types of events to happen to us. What needs to be done is, for this police officer, in question, to be grabbed, covertly, taken to a place where there won’t be any disturbance, and for 3 days, inflict on this sub-human, a needle-nose-pliers and a blow-torch.
