Twitter was in meltdown when the verdict came Saturday night in the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin trial. Facebookers like this one were among many writing their fair share of posts on the trial and its outcome.
One online site in particular captured considerable attention – well over 100,000 visits a day and a public post-trial thank-you from Robert Zimmerman, father of the younger Zimmerman: “I have thanked Mark Omara and Don West. Now I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to you, our friends at CTH.”
The Conservative Treehouse (aka “CTH” and “The Last Refuge”) earned Zimmerman’s grateful acknowledgement because of its extraordinary investigative work undertaken throughout the saga, particularly in obtaining through Freedom of Information Act and publishing public records that revealed the corruption and racism connected to the charges and the trial itself, naming who was involved regardless of how high up the political food chain it went, in what the investigative bloggers called “The Zimmerman Railroading.”
Among its reports, Trayvon Martin’s drug use, explaining how the Skittles and Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail drink he carried that night are ingredients that, when mixed with dextromethorphan (DXM) cough syrup, create “Lean”, a concocted high which can cause psychosis and aggression over the longer term. According to the autopsy report, Martin’s liver showed damage consistent with DXM abuse.

Zimmerman got a fair trial. I guess you’ve never read Trayvon’s tweet or photos of him with stolen jewelry or an illegal firearm. The constitution was NOT trampled on.
They both received a fair trial under our laws. Justice was served for both young men and their families in this matter and the jury of their peers has spoken. There’s no conspiracy or attempt to be subversive in any way on the part of the jurors. Whatever YOU believe is irrelevant in so much as the law is concerned. The law was used by six Americans who decided how Justice was to be served…not just to Zimmerman, but to Trevon as well. One side took in the shorts more than the other but neither side was absolutely correct morally or ethically; however, the laws we claim to live by and under have rendered a decision and it needs to be respected otherwise we fall into third world chaos.

You won’t recognize me. My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old child who was shot at point blank range by two teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy’s peers from Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty…too bad I was given a death sentence for being innocent and defenseless.
My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder.
I am one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation’s history, but the media doesn’t care to cover the story of my tragic demise, President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me – so he doesn’t care and the media doesn’t care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots.
There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller – I no longer have my life.
So while you are seeking justice for Trayvon, please remember to seek justice for me too. Tell your friends about me, tell you families, get tee shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Treyvon

I used to be addicted to DXM. I can see a person becoming aggressive if they mix it wrong. What I cant see, is how you could actually do anything at all about being mad. You cannot do much of anything on DXM, its hard enough just to think. Screw getting words out, you sound slow like a malfunctioning robot. Hence why its called robo talk.

Autopsy doesn’t say anything like that… says liver was unremarkable and that the only drug in his urine and blood was THC. Do your research people. Click the autopsy link and read it.
