The ’cause’ of our collapse is US. The American worker became lazy, and entitled, and the sheep voted for the government that would give them everything they ever dreamed of, and the corrupt politicians promised them the ‘goodies’, and the sheeple bought the lie. The sheeple are the problem, the politicians are just the ‘effect’ of a corrupt people. A corrupt nation will end up with a corrupt currency, it’s a ‘spiritual’ problem with the population.

It’s political laziness that got you into the mess. It’s all too easy to pass the responsibility onto others. When you do so you can guarantee corruption. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
It has nothing to do with spirituality but a misplaced trust in the people you vote in to run things. You need to cut them out of the loop completely and have a real democracy, one person one vote on everything. If everyone/majority became politically proactive it would prevent the corruption, because you have allowed no room for it.
It’s inevitable if you live by a system of infinite growth in a finite world. Sooner or later you’ll run out of resources and die. That system can only fail and history proves it always does.
We need a real democracy not a dictatorship in disguise being run by bankers and corporations.
