What economic collapse? The Feds are printing up the money to give to who they choose, buying the UST bonds to keep their CEO in office (POTUS), food stamps for everyone that asks, SS checks still go out. So far neither China nor Russia has dumped their USD holdings. A few years ago China was threatening to dump their USD holdings, but mere threat so far.
The USA/UK central bankers are in a high stakes game to take their nation credit creation monopoly central banks to the IMF, so that the IMF would control the credit creation of the USA, UK and all other nations. Under the IMF Articles of Agreement the IMF is above all legislative, executive and judicial branches of every nation. The IMF is answerable to none of them. No property owned by the IMF is taxable by any nation. The IMF is US Federal Reserve, Bank of England, they control the IMF.
The Federal Reserve can keep it going like it has since 2008 financial crash, and where eruptions occur that need to be quelled (such as movement to price oil in currency other than USD) the US military and NATO (which is the US military for all intents and purposes) are there to keep same from happening. The FR is waiting for China, Russia and Germany or any of the two and the other would be compelled to follow, to agree to allow the IMF to issue what would then be the new world reserve currency.
Things are getting more uncomfortable for China, rural bank runs, the western central bankers have sent Al Queda into China to create social unrest, and are behind the Ukrainian coup.
The USA/UK want their way and if the hold out nations do not cave in, the tensions will increase and increase and increase leading to a world war.
The Federal Reserve is not seeking to cover up an economic collapse, that is create an incident that is blamed for causing an economic collapse in the USA. The last thing FR wants is civil unrest in the USA, which is why the majority of USA citizens continue to receive money from the US gov’t, SS checks, food stamps courtesy of the FR buying UST bonds with money printed out of thin air.
