OK… I’ll throw this out there. If you’re confronted by a police officer, and they’re telling you to drop your weapon, why would you then REACH INTO YOUR WAISTBAND??!! Clearly, a cop – who’s already on edge – is going to take that motion as an intent to harm. Granted, a 12-year-old probably isn’t going to think that, but in that case, don’t do anything. Let the police find out that it’s fake, and go on with your life.
