Although I truly believe that repentance and a closer relationship with God is in order, I must question the false impression you are leaving readers with by broadsiding them with the following misrepresentation;

God’s Truth is that if you sin and do not repent you can neither receive God’s Spirit or that of His Son Jesus Christ. They in perfection cannot reside in sin. Repentance is a living continuous cycle of mercy and grace only achievable through Christ. It is not a one time requirement that once you proclaim acceptance Christ as the Messiah and it’s a done deal, you can just go about your business as usual. That belief will cost you salvation.

Sin that is not repented of is unpardonable sin. If God hasn’t been petitioned for forgiveness through our high priest under the order of Melchizedeck for any sin you’ve committed after baptism this sin literally stands between you and such a divine relationship with either the Father or Son. Receiving their Spirits is impossible. A state of continual repentance is require of us all. People please don’t be fooled by nonsense that leads you destruction.

God made a huge sacrifice offering His perfect (unleavened) human Son as our Passover. Jesus was the unblemished Lamb whose blood is the painted on our door steps. When we repent, in exactly the same spirit as what was miraculously accomplished during the final plague placed on Egypt before the Exodus comes into play. The lambs blood that protected the sons of Israel from the wrath of God or the penalty of death for sin was symbolic, prophetic of things to later come through the Messiah.

In the same way the high priest during the Levitical system had to periodically enter the tabernacle’s mercy seat making sacrificial offerings for the benefit of everyone’s sins, Christ’s blood provided the same protection for us, opening the door for us to have a personal one on one relationship with God the Father through him, or better put, through repentance. Christ’s sacrifice made this repentance possible.

Jesus not Yahweh, he is the mediator, our advocate our high priest each time we ask God through him for forgiveness our sins have been forgiven. The Messiah is a continuous, ongoing sacrifice. We must repent whenever we offend. Then and only then receive and keep their Spirits, however it would be prudent to note that when we sin again we will positively loose their presence until we again repent. This is the process, a mechanism of cleansing carnal man from sin that God has provided so He can reside within each and every one of us. He did this at great personal sacrifice, out of agape for the chronically imperfect who try their humanly best love and obey Him.
