Just Die Already...Your Government Says You Have To.

The Federal Government has a function and when it meddles into everything, it becomes something similar to what we have seen in history become totalitarian systems. We have been under the propaganda of socialism/communism for decades.

Remember that surreal moment when Nancy Pelosi said that they had to pass the bill to see what was in it and they did?  I could not believe that anyone in their right mind would accept that statement.

Now, that people have been able to get their hands on the document, they are discovering little details that may make even liberals unhappy.  For example, “even if the patient is willing and able to pay for it” there will be a limit to how much a patient can spend.  This is where conservatives got the idea of “death panels”

Honestly, the government should not tell people who much they can spend on anything.  I agree with minimum standards of care – which is, keep the person alive and healthy.  If someone has been deemed terminal by a doctor and the person can afford to go to a different doctor, participate in studies or even fly himself in a freaking rocket into space, because lack of gravity helps, then that person should be allowed to do so.

Of course, we will have people who will complain that the money could have been used to help others.  It is NOT your money.  You did NOT work for it and how would you like for a stranger to tell you should give up hope so that another stranger can have the benefit of what you worked for?

People, at some point you need to get off your own collective asses and make something for yourselves.   It is lazy and abusive to think that one person should strive, meet life’s challenges for somebody else to enjoy the fruits of that person’s efforts.  A very small portion of the 1% got their money through inheritance.  The vast majority made their money through focus and work – I know a couple.  As a matter of fact, how come people don’t ask celebrities to share their wealth?  What is this 1% that you hate?  Who are they?  Is it one family?  You’re truly going to tell me that one family is the source of all of YOUR problems?  How come I don’t feel the same?  How come I know of many people who began with nothing and today are wealthy?  How come there are new millionaires in America every year?

 It is time for people to wake up because, guess what, when you get old, you will not like when some bureaucrat tells you that “sorry” but it’s time for you to “gracefully” kick the bucket because the state will NOT spend anymore money on you.  It won’t matter what you vote – Democrat or Republican – you will only be a number.  All those nice fantasies of getting better health care so that people can live longer only happen when somebody is willing to fund the research and, in this case, it looks like the government is not going to let you do that.
