To my liberal friends, I understand that you don’t care for the Republican candidates – They are all the usual type of politician. The Donald is good at forcing all politicians away from the same tired script we have heard for over 20 years. I think that we need to get away from the script. I see that people have been caged into thinking categories. If you’re a Democrat, then anything any conservative says is like nails on a chalkboard. I read somewhere where feminists needed a “safe room” because they could not stand to listen to a speaker? What sort of nonsense is that?
Listen, it has not mattered who sat in the WH, the poor is still poor, vets are still mistreated, jobs are still being shipped overseas, there’s a law that says that everyone has access to healthcare but premiums are still high and getting higher. Our enemies have come and established themselves on our soil and can be found at all levels of government and private industry.
Even worse, we are more divided by race than in the ’70s and ’80s. So, rescue does not come from politicians or the government. We, the people of the United States have to find a common goal. Instead of allowing us to be pit one against another, through mainstream media, we have to look at what made our country great. It was identity. Being American.
I always remember Kennedy’s words: “Ask not what can your country do for you, but what can you do for your country.” Get involved in your community. Build bridges based on similarities, not differences.
Everybody can agree on safety in our streets – then get together and with your neighbors, chase street gangs away. Get together with the police and turn and rat on the bastards – they are killing your children. Everybody can agree on the need for jobs – write to Senators, organize and demand that our jobs be brought back. Everybody can agree on the need for reliable childcare for low income parents – again, write to Congress and ask for things like a voucher so that private childcare centers can get reimbursed. It would be a less costly option than building lots of childcare centers for low income parents.
Think of ways to use the services that we already have, whether public or private and improve on them, as opposed to asking the government to build a solution from the ground up. There is so much that we, as the people, can do without having to resort to bickering, riots or hate – or waiting for government to do it for us.
I can hear many of you already, Evangelicals hate gays! Whites hate Blacks! White privilege! Blacks hate Whites! Cops kill blacks! The rich hates the poor! Well, there are haters but the numbers must be small compared to the rest of population, otherwise some group would have become extinct already.

I have been hated by representatives of every group and I have also been loved by representatives of every group. Some of you assume that a couple of idiots represent the whole group. Some of you, want the extermination of certain groups. I mean really, some of you truly believe that the world would be better if “X” group was exterminated.
Some of you want a powerful regime to come and take over – yes, let’s get the government to rule over everybody’s life. Let’s allow one group of humans to determine what is right for the majority and enforce it with power! There has never been any human endeavor that has not been tainted by corruption or tilted to favor one group over another. What if you are not part of the “in” crowd?
Furthermore, some of you truly want this planet to be hit by a biggie-sized meteorite so that the world can be purified and re-populated with the “right people” the chosen ones. I mean, really? Can you hear yourselves? You want mass genocide so that things can “get better”?
People, wake up. Stand back and take a look at the results of what politicians, religious leaders or community organizers have done – NOT at what they have said. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. What have been the practical effects in your life of anything that politicians have promised you.
I know you have been conditioned to cringe at the thought of questioning your own party’s results but – if you are screwed and don’t say something, you will continue to get screwed. Your children will continue to get arrested, incarcerated, have no future, blow themselves up, be poor and worse – your grandchildren will also be screwed.
See, I am going to tell you a secret that all conservatives know. We love God and have faith but very few of us worry about the pastor talking about “the earth is only 6k years old” We go: “That’s nice pastor…” then go home, clean the house, prepare good wholesome meals for our family, discipline our kids, watch them like a hawk, monitor their time online, TV and their friends. We demand performance in school and ambition from them. We are Americans, regardless of our skin color or even if we were born in this country. We are Americans and we are proud of that.
You don’t have that. You are getting pushed back and forth through the media and spend hours, days and practically your whole lives thinking that someone hated on you. You are taught to hate this country so you live on soil that you hate. You have been taught to feel shame, instead of admiration for the sacrifices and intellect of those who came before us. You hate the thought of assimilation but we don’t. We learned about our founding fathers and realized that those guys were pretty sharp – they thought long and hard about the constitution and how to set up this country and came up with an amazing thing. We, conservatives, see that and cherish it. It is the glue that binds us, more so than religion because, you see, not all conservatives are Christian.
The glue that binds us and helps us thrive is the belief in the greatness of America and the common goal of defending her. The more anyone tries to take that away from us, the more we rally together. So, if you are a liberal because you hate America and want to see her fall – you will have to go through an awful lot of us to accomplish that.
If, on the other hand, you are a liberal because you were taught to be, I’m not going to tell you to come to our side. No, I’m just going to go about my life and be happy; your life is your business and your choice. I did my piece by sharing my thoughts with you. We, conservatives, will rally together and work to help America and it would be nice if you joined us without having to talk about politics, religion, race or sexual preferences – leave that stuff at home. We don’t want to know who you sleep with or how. We can see your race and we’re like: “Yeah, so.” Your religion or lack of thereof is between you, the creator or your higher mind or the angel of death for all I care. Politics is only relevant when it comes to knowing whom we will contact to address issues in the community and that’s all.
If, on the other hand, you are a liberal because you were taught to be, I’m not going to tell you to come to our side. No, I’m just going to go about my life and be happy; your life is your business and your choice. I did my piece by sharing my thoughts with you.
