Understanding The Events of September 23rd

I wanted to share something amazing with you all. Something miraculous is about to happen this coming weekend (on Sept. 23^rd) that seems to be a once-in-a-lifetime event. This event is something that proves that the Bible and its prophecies are true. The implications could be history changing!

To describe what is about to happen on Sept. 23^rd, I have to give you a lesson to show you where it comes from in the Bible and what it means. Take a moment and read a study I put together:

The Scripture In Question – Let’s Look At Revelation 12:1-5 -

(Revelation 12:1-5 – 1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4 His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.)

What Does Revelation 12:1-5 Mean Prophetically?

The question is, what does it all mean? To understand Revelation 12, you need to read the chapter 11 as well as 13 to ensure you understand the times, the timeline, the circumstances and the events that are happening so you can have a greater understanding of what you are studying.

Let’s start with Revelation 11. At this point, we see that Israel gets saved.

(Revelation 11:11-13 – 11 But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. 13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.) (Take note that Israel had to see a miracle for them to give glory to God. They realized that the 2 witnesses (who were talking about Jesus) were God’s messengers and they get saved at that point.)

For the second half of Revelation 11, there is a change of scenery and a break so-to-speak where you see proclamations in Heaven;

(Revelation 11:15-18 – 15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. 18 “And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”)

Heaven is rejoicing because The Lord has been pursuing Israel for 1000’s of years and they just got saved! Now, the Lord can finally take over as His people are ready.

Next, you will see the beginning of the persecution starting in Revelation chapter 12. Then in Revelation 13, we see the complete rise of the Anti-Christ as well as his full on attack on Israel and the church. In Revelation 11, we see a world at peace, then we suddenly see the Anti-Christ in full rage mode. Why did he get so angry when Israel got saved?

That is where Revelation 12:1-5 comes into play. What do we see?

1. We meet Israel. (past event)
2. We see Israel awaiting the Messiah. (past event)
3. Satan trying to destroy the Messiah. (past event)
4. We see the birth of the Messiah. (past event)

Then in the history time line, we see the rapture of the church. (Rev. 12:5 – This is a future event)

Why are we shown a picture of past events that happened over 2000+ years ago in Revelation 12, which is a book of future prophecy? These 5 verses give us a complete overview of God’s bride from inception to rapture (See Rev. 12:5 – See below). He started His message of salvation to the Israelites and it spread to the Gentile world. From there, the church age is born. Then at the end of the church age, we are gathered and go home to be with the Lord.

This timeline has to be there as a reminder. Since there was a break between the salvation and the persecution, it might be weird for the reader if the story goes directly from salvation to attack with no back-story. In other words, it is as if the Lord gives us an overview of past events as to why the persecution to about to take place. Here is how we know it was a timeline to catch us all up… After this timeline, it then jumps to Israel fleeing to the wilderness (Rev. 12:13-17). Without the timeline of past events, you would be wondering why Israel got saved them immediately flees to the desert. You would also wonder why the Anti-Christ suddenly turned against Israel when in the chapter before, everything was ok. This is reminder that Satan’s plans have always been thwarted by God and this is the cause of the Anti-Christ’s anger.

What Does the Revelation 12:5 Mean?

(Revelation 12:5 … and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.).

Many people assume this is in reference to the ascension of the Lord into Heaven after He rose from the dead. I would also agree to this line of thought, but I feel it may also have a different meaning entirely.

The word “caught up” in the Greek is: Strong’s Concordance #726 (harpázō) (ἡρπάσθη) – seize by force; snatch up, suddenly and decisively – like someone seizing bounty (spoil, a prize); to take by an open display of force (i.e. not covertly or secretly).

When you compare Revelation 12:5 with verses that depict the Lord ascending to Heaven, you get another message entirely. Why does the ascension of the Lord in Mark and Acts show Him rising in the air while they watched, while He is snatched away quickly in Revelation 12:5? These are not the same events.

In Rev. 12:5, we are shown the rapture of the church in the timeline of events of the Bride of Christ. Now, I am not saying the rapture of the church is in Rev. 12. This just happens to be a complete overview of the timeline of the Bride of Christ which is stuck in the middle of the Book of Revelation. This is given to us as a reminder that the rapture already took place (back in Rev.4) and that is another reason why the Satan is so mad.

It is a funny way to look at it, but when we read the Book of Revelation we are reading about the future, and in Revelation chapter 12, we are given a glimpse of the past. So in essence, we are shown the future and seeing past events at the same time.

When Is The Rapture?

According to the Book of Revelation, the rapture must take place in Revelation 4. Revelation 1-3 give an overview of the history of the church, then suddenly with a call (“come up here!”), they are there in Heaven in Revelation 4. There are events in the Book of Revelation that cannot happen unless there is a pre-trib rapture. The elders in Rev. 4 have thrones, crowns and wear white and this is only promised to believers. This same group praises the Lord for His blood that saved them in Rev. 5. That means there are Christians in Heaven in Rev. 4 BEFORE God’s wrath is poured out in Rev. 6. Here is an interesting thought… Rev. 6 clearly shows that God’s wrath has come because people say, “The wrath of God and the Lamb”. Think about this… No one (Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc.) except a Christian would say “the Lamb”; only a person who knows who God is would say that. The Bible says that judgment begins in the House of God, so God will bring His wrath upon the unsaved (or left-behind) church first. The true Bride of Christ has already been gathered and are with the Lord while these things are being said on earth.

Now, God says look up into the sky for a sign and literally, in Rev. 4. that is what they will see. As weird as it sounds, God will use constellations to send His bride a message and a warning.

Signs -

So now that we understand the meaning of Revelation 12:1-5, let’s look at why there would be a sign in the heavens. The Bible tells us that the sun moon and stars are there for signs and seasons…

(Genesis 1:14 – And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,)

(Revelation 6:12-14 – 12 The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up,)

(Matthew 2:2 – and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”)

(Luke 21:11-28 – 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven…. 25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the n of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”)

As you see, God uses the stars as His message board. Back in Jesus’ time the people knew where all the constellations where, but not so much during the day. As an example, it is impossible to see the constellation Virgo during the day because Virgo is aligned with the sun and the atmosphere would block the stars from being seen. With today’s technology, we can easily see where things are located and what is happening even when the sun is blocking our view.

This Is An Actual Sign In The Heavens -

This exact event shown to us in Revelation 12:1-5 will be taking place on September 23, 2017 in the sky. This astronomical alignment that occurs ONLY on that day. The constellation Virgo (the virgin) will be “clothed in the sun” since the constellation will be in the sky during daylight hours, the moon will be at her feet, and the constellation Leo will be above her head. On the morning of September 23, 2017, there will be 3 additional “stars” in the LEO constellation with Mercury, Venus, and Mars combining with Leo, “crowning” her with 12 stars. Jupiter, the king of the planets, will have been in the “womb” area of Virgo for 9 months in retrograde motion before this day (exactly the time for a child to be in the womb), and on the 23rd, it will be exiting through her legs, “giving birth” to it. Is He trying to give us a sign? I thought this was an amazing coincidence. In the Greek culture of Jesus’ day, people worshipped the planet Jupiter. They called it “Sydyk”. The name “Sydyk” means “the manifestation of justice or righteousness”. according to what is coming on September 23, 2017, the sign of “the manifestation of justice or righteousness” will be birthed through the virgin.

Now, there is also another sign to watch for:

(Revelation 12:3-4 – 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. 4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.)

Once again, scripture literally lines up with the skies. Every year in the beginning of the month of October, we have what is called the Draconid meteor shower where meteorites are thrown towards the earth. These meteorites have been responsible for some of the most spectacular meteor showers in history. Remarkably, these meteors come from the constellation Draco the Dragon and last 10 days.

Any Other Connections?

Now, here is where things get really interesting! I sat there thinking, wow, we have two signs in the heavens to watch for and they take place in the sky. Do those events coincide with any other event? With a little searching, I found out that the Revelation 12:1-2 event in September 2017 happens at the end of the Feast of Trumpets. The Draconid meteor shower takes place during the Feast of Booths or Feast of Sukkot. you have two events related to Israel taking place in or alongside Jewish Feast days. These events are also taking place in a Jubilee year for Israel as well as this is the 70th anniversary of Israel getting its land back. Also, this coincides with a prophecy that rabbi Judah Ben Samuel gave in 1217 (exactly 800 years ago) that says the following:

- The Turks will conquer Jerusalem and will control Jerusalem for 8 Jubilee periods.
- Then the Turks will be conquered and Jerusalem will sit empty for 1 Jubilee period.
- Then Israel will come back to the land and will live in it for 1 Jubilee period.
- This will signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.

So far, Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel’s 800 year old prophecy is exactly true. It has been exactly 50 years since Israel retook Jerusalem and we are at the end of the Jubilee period for Israel. If the rabbi was right so far, then the next logical step is the beginning of the Messianic end time…. Too many “coincidences”!

Looking At The Facts And Science Of It All -

I used the program Stellarium and looked backwards over 100 years and forward 100 years and nothing like this event even comes close. The sun in Virgo, 12 stars above her head (3 are normally never there), the moon at her feet, and this is happening on the Feast of Trumpets on a Jubilee year followed exactly by the Draconian meteorite shower for 10 days (which lines up with the 10 days of Awe) you will see this is real and is happening and this cannot be wished away as an amazing coincidence.

End Time Markers –

This event in September seems to be a specific marker for us to watch for… Now, combine this event with all the other end times markers we are supposed to be looking for we will see that we are definitely close to the end. God also showed us that when the people turn from God, then we will see the animals of the world start to die off:

(Hosea 4:1-3 – 1 Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites, because the Lord has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: “There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. 2 There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. 3 Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying.)

This has been happening for the past 10 years.

In Luke 21, Jesus also gave us a laundry list of disasters and destruction to look for that will precede the gathering of His people. Obviously, we have seen the rise in hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis, earthquakes, tornados, volcanoes, disease, war and famine. The interesting thing is, the natural disasters we have seen have been escalating to levels that are making them “the worst on record”. We have also been seeing things that have never happened before, such as the tornado outbreak of March 2011, the earth’s axis shifting due to the earthquakes of Chile and Japan, the fact that the Gulf Stream stopped circulating, an X10 class solar flare that was earth facing, Hurricane Charley and Hurricane Irma, the fires on the west coast… We are seeing all the things Jesus told us to look for. He said: (Luke 21:28 – When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”) Well, they have begun, and we need to look up… While we are looking up, the Sept 23rd event will be taking place. This is an amazing time to be alive!

What Does the Sept. 23^rd Sign Mean Physically?

Why would God align the stars for this event unless something spectacular is to happen? Why would He give us a clue to this event in the Book of Revelation? Maybe the key in found in Revelation 1:

(Revelation 1:3 – Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.)

Those who are looking for God’s clues will find then and that is the person the Lord is looking for, a student who tears into His Word to find the truth:

(Proverbs 25:2 – It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.)

I see this event as a hidden sign for true Spirit-led Christians who study their Bible thoroughly. Possibly it could be the rapture of the church. Maybe this sign in the sky was designed to be a picture of the birth of the true church?  What I mean by that is, the church may need this event to wake us up and get us motivated to tell others about Him.  I cannot imagine anything else that it could be, because the only people who will be looking for an event like this would be Christians. Muslims and Israelites would not know to look for this event and to them, it would have no significance. I can only make an educated guess as to what this could be, but remember, this is just my best guess given the info at hand.

Conclusion –

Obviously, no one knows the plans of the Lord. Even with all this data, my conclusions as to what the event will bring could be wrong. The neat thing is, this coming event is something that proves the Bible and its prophecies are true. That in itself should give us pause to realize that we need to be ready for the return of the Lord.

The Word says that the Holy Spirit will be poured out in the end days:

(Joel 2:28-29 – “It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. “Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.)

This event could be the start of that.  The true followers of Jesus are sitting up and taking notice, whereas the luke-warm church could care less and are mocking the event.  Please do not mock what is about to happen.  This event was detailed roughly 2000 years ago and it is about to be fulfilled to the letter.  No other religion in the world has fulfilled prophecy.  That should be enough to make you have second thoughts about this.

As much as I would LOVE to be gathered to Him, I must remember that no matter when He comes, I need to be ready in my heart and serving Him at all times.  I want to be found in a way that is pleasing to my Father in Heaven.  As no man knows the day or hour of His return for us, we will know the season…  My friends, it is the season.  Now so, more than ever, we need to be ready.  Think about these prophetic fulfillments and signs of the end days (all full verses are at the end of the message):

“signs in sun and moon and stars”  -  We’ve been seeing and are about to see signs in the skies for the past 2 years.

“the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying”  -  Animals are dying off in huge numbers all around the world.

“there will be great earthquakes”  -  Earthquakes are on the rise and are getting bigger and bigger.

“Nation will rise against nation”  -  This is obvious…

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars” – Obviously, we have been under the threat of war from North Korea for some time, but there has been war going on in the Middle East for years.

“plagues”  -  More and more diseases are becoming immune to our medicines.  Plagues have been on the rise over the past 10 years and are hitting the third world nations the hardest.

“famines”  -  The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that about 795 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world, or one in nine, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2014-2016.
“many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’”  -  In the past 15 years, we have seen a sudden up rise in people who are misleading many by claiming to be the Christ.

 “roaring of the sea and the waves”  -  If you haven’t noticed, the storms we just witnesses has almost completely destroyed the Caribbean, not to mention much of our shoreline.

“While they are saying, “Peace and safety!”  -  On September 21^st, the U.N. is holding its International Day of Peace with a theme of “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All.”  Also, many leaders over the past 2 years have been saying “Peace and safety” in their speeches.

When we look for signs of the coming rapture, Jesus tells us plainly that “when these things begin to take place”, then we are to look up for our gathering to Him. Since all these events are happening at this very moment, we need to be ready.

The first thing to look for is “signs in the sky”. So, seeing that this major event on Sept. 23^rd is a “sign in the sky”, obviously we are at the very beginning of His list of things to look for. Whatever the date or time of His return to gather us, we need to be looking up and our hearts need to be ready as our redemption is near. If the Lord should come today, are you ready to meet Him? Have you trusted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, what is keeping you from believing and following Him? God loves you and He wants you to be with Him forever. Don’t wait another minute thinking you can get to Heaven based on your good works or on your own power. All of our lives depend on the Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. For those who do not know the Lord, the good news is this…  You can get saved today!  Please don’t wait!  Think about what we have been promised:

(John 3:16-18 – 16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.)

(John 3:36 – Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”)

(John 6:40 – For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”)

(Joel 2:30-32 – 30 “I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke. 31 “The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. 32 “And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the LORD Will be delivered; For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem There will be those who escape, As the LORD has said, Even among the survivors whom the LORD calls.)

When you put your faith in the Lord, you will be brought into His church and someday, very soon, the Lord is going to gather His true followers and take us to Heaven with Him. 

(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 – since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.)

The bad news is, after the true church is gone, all hell will break loose on this planet.  The Word says that what is coming cannot be compared to any other event this world has ever gone through.  There is no guarantee that anyone will make it through the destruction.  If you do not know the Lord, most likely you will not have the opportunity to find salvation and you will be eternally lost.  I would hate to see that, even upon my worst enemy.   The only hope the unsaved have is put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

(Luke 21:25-28 - 25 “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26 men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 “Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory. 28 “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”)

(Matthew 24:5-6 – 5 For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.)

(1 Thessalonians 5:3 - While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.)

(Daniel 9:27 – “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”)

(Daniel 12:4 – “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”)
