It is clear to thinking people that our federal government and many local and state governments are thoroughly compromised. But for now, let’s just deal with our federal Congress, which is a total disgrace. They continually send money to Ukraine because many in Congress are nothing more than warmongers, who are doing what they can to escalate Ukraine’s unwinnable war against Russia. In essence, the USA is in a proxy war with Russia. I’m sure many in Congress get kickbacks of at least some of the money sent overseas because there is zero accountability for it. Money is sent and it simply disappears. I’m hearing that President Zelensky has become extremely wealthy. Not bad for a failed actor/comedian who was tapped to become president of Ukraine in the party he created as a comedy skit.

I’m tired of the lies that are foisted on the taxpayers of this country who, with one excuse after another, are made to foot the bill for Ukraine even though we do not have the money. It doesn’t seem to matter to those in Congress one iota. Former Fed Chair Alan Greenspan just said that the USA can pay all of its debts simply by printing more money. Apparently, he doesn’t care that the more money that is simply printed instantly becomes more debt for all Americans. These people are extremely unconscionable.

But even worse than that is the clear duplicity involving many within Congress, including newly elected Speaker of the House, Mike “Moses” Johnson. He claims to be a Christian but he seems to have shown his true colors (that didn’t take long!), and his true colors are in direct opposition to authentic Christianity. It looks like Gateway Pundit has been digging deep into the man and has found some very interesting, indisputable facts related to Mr. Johnson.

According to research and digging done by Gateway Pundit, some of the facts connected with Mike Johnson include[1]:

• an adopted son – Michael Tirrell James – whose rap sheet goes back to 2003
  • possession of cocaine
  • marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • trespassing
  • retail theft
  • possession of a concealed weapon
  • driving without a license, and
  • violating a restraining order preventing him seeing a 16-year-old girl he was ‘dating’ when he was 23
• Mike’s and his son’s problems with porn – apparently Mike sees his son as his “accountability partner”

My whole point in noting these things is not to condemn or rake Johnson or his son over the coals. No one is perfect, even Christians, including me. My sole contention though is that someone like Mike Johnson is the perfect person to compromise with those who also work for globalists against the USA and the world, because of his known shortcomings. Is he blackmailed, as Marjorie Green Taylor asks? Who knows, but let’s remember when Chuck Schumer purportedly said, “Intelligence Agencies ‘Have Six Ways From Sunday Of Getting Back At You.’”[2] Ron Paul recently noted that Schumer bragged at how easily Mike Johnson gave Democrats whatever they wanted. Why would he do that unless he was seriously compromised or being blackmailed?

So what do they have on Schumer or is he simply a willing co-conspirator in helping to take down America? He’s been accused of being a Marxist for decades, yet he has zero problem getting re-elected and continues work against America’s sovereignty and few on the Republican side of the aisle seem to care enough to do anything about it. Those few people cannot do much when many others on their side of the aisle are in league with globalists and therefore, Leftists.

Mike Johnson started out looking promising but that quickly faded, replaced with someone who now appears completely leftwing. For all intents and purposes, he is a Democrat. In fact, because Johnson is clearly compromised, he has been almost eager to give the Democrats whatever they want. This includes billions more for Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.[3] It’s incredible that few in Congress actually listen to American taxpayers. They apparently believe they can use the tax dollars we provide any which way they choose, but the F B I will keep an eye on your if you use your hard-earned cash to buy Bibles or guns…

I’m all for helping to alleviate problems for people, but I think it should start with relieving problems of the American people, especially the homeless vets throughout America. Many of those problems would not exist to the extent they exist if our borders were completely closed. Instead, both parties seem to want to bankrupt America as quickly as possible.

All the while, people continue to believe Donald J. Trump will “save” America. I can’t see that at all. In fact, if we look at what they are doing to him, it’s clear they are trying everything to tie him up in court so he cannot be out there running for office. Moreover, even if he is elected again to the highest office, they will continue to hedge him in on all sides to keep him from doing anything just like they did during his previous term. If he ultimately becomes unmanageable to globalists, I’m sure they have other options they can put into place.

My whole point of this article is this: no one is coming to save America and those who actually think this is going to happen are deluded and will be totally shocked when their hopes and dreams do not come true. Everything I’m seeing in global society is proof to me that the time is apparently right for God to allow the entire world to move closer and quicker to the coming final seven years of human history on this planet, prior to the physical return of Jesus to rule over it. The Tribulation must be closer than we thought and I won’t even go into the climate change scam, the C0V scam or any other scam in the works now. Weird, isn’t it?

A reader recently sent me a video link that somewhat connected to my “Warning Signs” article, posted recently. In it, Pastor Brandon Holtaus from Bakersfield, CA[4] speaks from Florida where he was to participate in the Prophecy Watchers Prophecy Conference there. Holtaus talks about The Remnant, the shrinking group of solid Christians who are very tired of their “woke” churches and the pastors who lead them. If their churches aren’t “woke,” the pastors too often take the easy way and never discuss prophecy at all. They see prophecy as being divisive and therefore, choose to ignore the subject altogether. In effect, those pastors are essentially worthless because for one reason or another, they don’t wish to rock the boat. Maybe they’re retirement age but don’t want to retire yet. Maybe they don’t want to have to deal with people getting frustrated and leave their churches. It could be for any number of reasons they choose not to delve into prophetic discourse. Ultimately, Holtaus says it’s a major lack of leadership by people taking up room in pulpits. One of the reasons is because for too many churches, it’s “nickles and noses.” Too many pastors, he says, are simply cowards. He says about 98% of the pastors in pulpits throughout America do not preach on the topic of prophecy.

Remnant believers are those Christians he encourages gather together in small groups to have their own Bible study. For these folks, getting together for Bible study, fellowship and even watching prophecy videos online and then discussing them. Holthaus says most of these Remnant believers are pastorless. These individuals get together to study aspects of the Bible that their preachers will not touch. In doing so, they end up moving away from their Laodicean churches. This type of church is run by the people (congregation), rather than receiving direction from the pastor and other spiritual leaders. So, pastors of these type of churches, not wanting to offend the people in them, will avoid prophecy and even other difficult areas of Scripture because, too often, people will leave that church for greener pastures and in so doing, will take their money with them.

This is tragic but as I’ve said before, I can clearly see a day coming where more Remnant believers will move out of the churches and start their own home-based Bible studies/fellowship groups. What does that say about the churches today that are focused on large crowds of people with big smiling faces?

I passed a billboard the other day in a town nearby. The billboard was for a large, local, emergent church. The message of the billboard was essentially “Come join us this Sunday!” but the billboard could’ve just as easily said, “Come join our rock concert this Sunday!” It was about the church’s spot lights, it’s rock band on the stage, and with people who seemed to really enjoy being there. I didn’t see anything necessarily Christ-centered in the billboard. It was all to exemplify an “exciting” time if you attend services in that church.

I personally know that particular pastor does not preach verse-by-verse (expositionally), and in general, is more into feel-good messages than anything else. He seems to be one of those “hirelings” Holtaus refers to, who often starts his message by reading a verse of Scripture, then spends the rest of his time talking about other things while carrying his closed Bible as he walks back and forth on the dais. It looks like he’s into God’s Word, but in actuality, God’s Word appears to simply be a prop. I think of a wolf who is ultimately destroying the faith of those who regularly attend. There seems to be no connection with the Head, practically speaking.

So, what is happening in our government, led by people who profess to be Christian, is exactly what’s happening in many local churches throughout America. It’s the same connective tissue, which creates situations that promote error and compromising truth for gain. This is, I believe, what it appears Mike Johnson is doing. He has compromised his stated beliefs in exchange for mammon (or safety from exposure, etc.).

According to the provided search results, Speaker Mike Johnson’s net worth is estimated to be $7 million in 2024. His monthly income is reported to be $40,000+, and his yearly income is estimated to be $0.5 million+. He also earns a salary of $174,000 as a Representative of the United States House of Representatives. Additionally, he makes money from speaking engagements, book royalties, real estate investments, and other business ventures, with estimated annual income ranging from $50,000 to $200,000.[5]

What is also interesting is that apparently, Mike Johnson does not declare any bank accounts nor does he apparently have any assets.[6] I find that fascinating. Is it a complete omission or lie on his part? How could someone in Congress not have a bank account as none is listed on his forms. Another question is how does a person in congress, even the speaker, earn that much money annually and end up with a net worth of $7 million???

House Ethics Committee filing guidelines state that members must disclose bank accounts they have at every financial institution, as long as the account holds at least $1,000 and the combined value of all accounts—including those belonging to their spouse and dependent children—exceeds $5,000.[7]

So Christian Mike Johnson doesn’t even follow the rules. Now we know that he has no allegiance to actual conservative thought and though he will stand up and state without equivocation that he pushed through the money for Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel because of his Christianity, or that he supports Israel because of his Christianity, nothing seems to make sense with him. He is actually helping to bankrupt this nation sooner than later and that seems perfectly fine with him.

Folks need to realize that the Swamp in DC is very deep and is winning and we also need to understand that it is winning (ostensibly), because God allows it. Fortunately, it will be defeated at some point in the future and everyone who supported that Swamp will also face defeat. That defeat will surely come when Jesus returns. It also needs to be emphasized without reservation that any “winnings” of the Swamp is due solely to the fact that God allows those wins and He does so only for His purposes.

It is clear to see just how easy it is for politicians (even professing Christian politicians), to be swept up by the Swamp, which came into existence decades and decades ago and has grown in strength systematically and consistently over those decades to now until we are at the point where only God can deal with it. Fortunately, He will, but He will first allow the final global kingdom over which Antichrist will rule. There is probably a “swamp” in most nations today who work to coalesce all nations into the coming one world government. We will see it rise in Europe where the old Roman Empire stood.

But it’s not just the swamp in many governments. It is the same within Christendom. There are too many hireling pastors who are not interested in actually equipping the saints with the truth of the Word of God. Instead, they’re too busy entertaining parishioners and ensuring that they walk around with big smiles so that they feel good about having attended a fake church. What this means for all believers is that going into the future, actual churches may start looking quite different from the average church now. Home-based small groups of believers where a leader or pastor is not necessarily given a regular salary, healthcare and a retirement package, may well become the future for all Remnant believers.

This is what it appears to be shaping up as so don’t be shocked when it begins to happen in earnest.
