We have reached the single digit countdown till the end of sophomore year… 8 MORE DAYS!

This week, the last full week of school, will consist of studying for finals! bum BuM BUM!

I’m the kind of person who will stress in all directions when it comes to finals! Truthfully, I’m not the best test taker in the world. Not that I don’t study beforehand, the problem is my lack of focus. In the middle of any test I will start dazing off, pondering irrelevant thoughts, forgetting all the information my brain has just absorbed. For this reason, the weekend before finals is always spent studying for countless hours. Either with friends at Barnes & Noble or with me, my lonesome self, and I.

On the bright side, this week is also going to consist of lots of yearbook signing! It’s a good thing I have sharpies in practically every color because I’m going to need them all until the last day of school. Whether my yearbook is $30.00 or $80.00, I ALWAYS get one to add to my yearbook collection starting from preschool.

Isn’t high school just peachy?

Keeping track of each day until I have reached freedom from sophomore year isn’t my only countdown…

12 MORE DAYS UNTIL MY SWEET 16!

On Saturday, my dad took me to the hotel where my party will take place, the Arizona Biltmore. I felt like a hobo after stepping inside the lobby of this hotel in my regular casual clothes. Literally, I think the janitor was dress classier than me…

We toured the hotel gardens, the lounge, the restaurant, the multiple pools, the spa, but most importantly the ballroom hosting my party! The Frank Lloyd-Wright Ballroom has been rented out for my special night, and a special night it shall be! After looking around, not only am I excited for my party but I’m also excited to actually stay as a guest here. Whether it’s sliding down the water slide, eating at the hotel restaurant, or chilling with my friends in our fabulous suite; I’m absolutely pumped for a weekend of luxury! I own a big big HUGE thank you to the Biltmore staff and of course, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  

Pity to whoever can’t make it to my party… it’s going to be a hell of a great time!
