Blood Alley A Short Story

Have you ever traveled down a two lane black top late at night, the road dark, the sky rolling with black clouds and no end in sight? Did you hear sounds that you didn’t know where they came from? Did you see things in the middle of the road and didn’t know what they were?

   Blood Alley is just that short story. A two lane black top, a full moon, a long haul truck driver late for his next stop and things that go bump in the night. Bubba  left Georgia for a run to Miami. He was running late so he took highway 27 better known as Blood Alley. Little did he know that he wouldn’t make that stop in Miami when he saw the semi in the middle of the road and the dead driver beside it.

  When you read Blood Alley read it with the lights on and don’t drive two lane black tops at night.
