Huge UK Crash Caused By Aliens?

These days, truly mysterious events seem to occur less and less frequently. A sad fact I know, but thanks to advances in CCTV, DNA analysis and forensic-science, many happenings that previously had no explanation, can now be understood. That is certainly not to say that odd affairs do not manifest, just that many acts we formerly attributed to the paranormal, can be demystified.

However, when I read this book, I was totally blown away. Written by security operative Colin Hall, it chronicles an investigation into two very strange crashes in England and France, that may or may not have had an out-of-this-world / paranormal element.

It is alleged that the crash in England, on the M6 motorway, involved 17 vehicles, including 3 trucks. Miraculously no one was killed, although there are reports that suggest a few people were taken to hospital. The mystery comes in the form of three main elements: a tachometer from one of the trucks involved showed that it’s speed was reduced dramatically around one minute before the accident, CCTV footage shows a thin white line shoot across the southbound carriageway at the same time, and astonishingly, it is suggested that three of the cars involved in the crash had no occupants when police arrived at the scene.

Hall admits that he prefers to see situations like this from the angle of an intrigued skeptic  but describes himself as someone who wants to believe, which in my opinion is an essential trait for any researcher looking into unexplained phenomena.

Perhaps the most mysterious information comes, not from the crash itself, but from within the author’s investigation. Trawling the internet in an attempt to discover more facts about the case, Hall came across a blog referring to the crash called 1of26, and an illusive reporter named Mark Collins, who had, it seemed, been the writer of many press-releases relaying the M6 controversy.

I won’t spoil the book for you, but this Collins character is a real mind-twister. Take a look for yourselves, type his name and “M6 Crash” into a search engine, you’ll see what I mean. On top of that, the1of26 blog is enough to make me want to don a hat and pipe and call for “dear Watson”. Created sometime ago, it appears the blog was once a sort of time-travelers diary, but now exists solely in some high-tech, unbreakable code form, which adds considerably to the mystery.

The most unique aspect of this book, is that the investigation is very much still ongoing. In fact, the author is specifically looking for more people to come forward and provide answers – a sort of interactive series if you will. I am confident we can expect big things in the future from Mr Hall.

Published by Markosia Enterprises, this book marks their move into non fiction publishing, but still contains their world famous, trademark, comic book style, with many full colour author-doodles and pictures relevant to the investigation. The layout in one word is impeccable, I rarely see a publication so well put together. Could this be a glimpse into the future for texts of this kind? – it certainly raises the enjoyment level for the reader.

A devotedly dazzling insight into an almost incomprehensible, truly modern, British mystery.
