I am off today, chaperoning a group of 100+ middle school band kids at Disneyland. Did I mention that it is a special “open 24 hrs” day at Disney. Yea, CHAOS!!!

While I am busy herding cats, I mean hanging with Middle Schoolers, I wanted to share TWO upcoming events that I am SUPER excited about…

First – a Google Hangout Mother-Daughter event with my new fav mom’s group – Working Mom’s Against Guilt. The event is on June 1 at 4-5 PDT. Here is the blurb:

The moms at Working Moms Against Guilt are thrilled to announce our first-ever live online event! Saturday, June 1, we’ll be hosting a Google Hangout with Christine Fonseca, author of THE GIRL GUIDE: FINDING YOUR PLACE IN A MIXED-UP WORLD.
We’re calling our event the WMAG Mother/Daughter Book Club—Girls’ Night In! Moms, this is a chance to spend some quality time with your tween/teen daughters, getting expert advice on finding your authentic voice and dealing with common challenges such as bullying and feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities at school and home.

My other event is a book signing at my local Temecula Barnes and Noble. It takes place on Tuesday June 4, from 7-9. I’m promoting The Girl Guide and will be giving away some swag. I can not wait to meet you all!!!
