This is a fantasy adventure of a young orphan, Caleb Ferguson, who is
rescued by Professor Thaddeus Slimmerik, from a work-house type
orphanage where he’s lived since the age of two. The professor takes
him to Elemental, a magical realm where he discovers he is the son of
a famous warrior who fought for the Army of LIght to protect all
innocents, humans and magical beings. Caleb is taken along with eleven
other young student warriors to an Island Academy to be trained to
follow in their parent’s footsteps if they can survive Count Pendagra,
who wants Caleb to follow him.
This is a story of Molly Hawk and her grandfather, Edward. They
receive news that Edward’s grandmother, Ambrosia Emra Hawk, is ill and
needs them to travel to west Texas as soon as possible.
When Molly and Edward arrive, Ambrosia informs Molly that her magical
staff is missing and it must be found before it falls into the hands
of someone who could use it for evil purposes. Ambrosia tells Molly
that their family are descendants of Merlin and their job on earth is
to prevent evil forces from harming others.
Molly sets out to search for the staff and runs into fires,
explosions, vicious beasts, and the evil Count Armistad who wants the
staff to increase his wicked powers.
