Need Images for Your Website?

If you need images, photos, fonts or sounds for your website, you may be interested in a new resource I just discovered.

For several years, we have been using a royalty-free stock image website for all of our graphics needs (ie websites, business cards, flyers, brochures, blog images and other marketing materials.

They have been great, and I don’t think we could go without an image service after having all sorts of images at our fingertips whenever we need them. It made me realize that a picture is truly 1,000 words (if not more), and when it comes to marketing or website design – images can make the different between you making a sale… or not.

However…

I recently came across a royalty-free stock image provider that offered what I needed (even more than I was currently getting) for – get this – a third of the price.

I was skeptical of course, because I believe in a sense, “you get what you pay for”. So I did my research. I have tested out the service, and I am more than impressed. So, I am letting you know about it.

This resource is really only for people who use lots of images or need background images for websites (or if you need cool sounds like helicopters or squeaky doors or unusual fonts). If you just need a few stock photos or graphic for a logo, you are better off going somewhere else. However, for those of us who use hundreds of images a year, this is seriously a steal.

The cool thing is that you can check out their site (www.iClipArt.com) without having to pay any money. If you see stuff you like, you can subscribe for a year access for less than $50. If you have looked at other stock image providers, you will agree this price is low. However, if you know of one I have missed, please let me know!
