Apple stole the Smart Watch from TAG Heuer

A few days after the official launch of Apple Watch, which is the first smart watch, the California company and the Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches TAG Heuer announced it is working on its own similar device. 

“TAG Heuer in no way interested in copying the model of Apple Watch“, said in an interview with local newspaper Jean-Claude Biver, chief of the watch business of the French luxury goods group LVMH (which includes TAG Heuer and Zenith). He added that the company wants to place smart clock under the brand TAG Heuer, but it should not copy Apple Watch. “Our company’s philosophy does not fit to tread in the footsteps of the past before us”, he said. 

More details about the device are not known, but is expected to appear at the latest exhibition Baselworld watch next spring. Last year, TAG Heuer has created a limited luxury smart clock for Team sailing team of Oracle and so gathered experience in portable devices.

In July, Apple stole the lead manager of the Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches Prunyoks Patrick, who was vice president of Tag Heuer sales and retail. Then Beaver said that in the future the Swiss watch manufacturers will have to keep an eye on Apple. “Personally, I think that iWatch is a potential threat to the industry and it should not take a wait”, added the manager. 

Swatch recently also said that next year will release a version of its watch Swatch Touch with different fitness functions. The company reserves the years a number of markets brand iSwatch. 

Apple Watch was even presented during the traditional September I conference the company, whose main focus was the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Tim Cook and company, however, assured that Apple Watch will not work with new smartphones, but also the older generation iPhone 5, 5s and 5c. Besides, Samsung, Motorola, LG and Co. have their proposals which will no doubt improve.
