Gatlinburg TN opens for business after wildfires

The deadly wildfires in the Gatlinburg Mountains had severe damages done to the city and people, especially tourists. The unfortunate incident took many lives with it, but life still goes on.  The city of Gatlinburg is back to normal and has started its business. All famous tourist attraction, the smoky mountains, the 5 scenic miles and the national park have now been reopened for visitors after renovation.

November 23 last year was an unfortunate day. The day wildfires were first reported near the Chimney tops area. The situation got worst when high wind added to the wildfire. The warning for the situation to go worst brought with it mass evacuation, the first for this area. Gatlinburg was the worst hit. Almost 2500 buildings were damaged and 14 lives were lost in the tragic incident. The city was shaken to roots and people were scared.

But nothing lasts forever, so the wildfires were bravely fought for weeks and put out. But the scars were huge. The damages motels, cafes, charged bikes, and cars were clearly visible. It’s taken months to reconstruct it back and get the renovation done. And now the famous tourist attraction that has almost a million tourists annually is back on its feet. The people have lost too much yet their spirit is alive and they are back to do business again.

Gatlinburg TN is now reopening for tourists, Thai news brought happiness for not tourists but more for the businessmen but for people that live there. For them, it was a greater fight to recover after such incident. Now the city is urging visitors back for if they do not get visitors they surely will suffer a lot an Eloise it all.
