The Ferret Theory

At the expense of the Verdon family in Orangevale, Ca. Anheuser-Busch decides to use brilliant ideas from Verdon. While, though it seemed legit to Verdon in working on commercial ideas for the big brewery? Verdon who, was a collector of Anheuser-Busch steins and memorabilia, decided he wanted to pitch some ideas for Budweiser in the hopes of some recognition! 

The legal department started sending documentation which, built up Verdon’s hopes in Orangevale from Anheuser-Busch. But check and Thank Yous, did not show up. He stayed hopeful, thinking Anheuser-Busch would deliver on his good faith.

Then the start of company betrayal started to begin. It was March 15,1996, a letter from Mr. Tim Schoen; August Busch IV uncle sent a disappointing legal letter to Verdon in Orangevale, Ca. Schoen says! {He regrets to inform Verdon that all of his ideas where declined the “Bud Ice Penguin, the Alligator, Ferret commercials and steins and memorabilia.” 

Then, July 22, 1996: Anheuser-Busch. Legal Rep: Richard W. Renner from the Anheuser-Busch Companies in St. Louis, Missouri. In responds to a letter Verdon sent to Mr. Busch about feeling put out. Renner notes; first we regret any confusion and disappointment that you Verdon have experienced. And that Verdon you signed; Anheuser-Busch’s legal agreements that clearly, state no-promises of commitment was made. Furthermore, Mr.Schoen previous informed you Verdon that your ideas for commercial usage were declined.   

February 19th, 1998: As the drama went on; Anheuser-Busch Legal Rep; Scott Miller says. “Anheuser-Busch did process Verdon’s submissions in good faith.” So, the brewery says?  ((And regret any misunderstanding.)) And thanked, Verdon for his continued interest in Anheuser-Busch.

Then Verdon started to contacting the press about his story, a reporter from the Sacramento-Bee: David Richie goes through the legal paper work and drawings for Anheuser-Busch at Verdon’s house. Richie came to the conclusion an apology was needed- in favor of Verdon’s efforts he thought.

But, Verdon’s luck had run out on him in this situation The Sacramento-Bee couldn’t afford a story like this to reach mainstream news: It would hurt the Bee’s advertising profits and the Bee would suffer. Verdon called the Bee and asked to speak with Reporter; Richie and Richie did conform that he could not print the story and told Verdon he was very sorry!

Reporter: Richie says, going to the press could cause problems for Verdon. 

And problems Verdon has been having every since 1998 to Present….It was Richie’s first year with Sacramento Bee he started in 1997. 

April 3rd, 1998: Verdon lost his job sure enough reporter Richie was right about corporate gang-stalking by, Costco  were Verdon worked Costco was affiliated to Anheuser-Busch & The Teamsters. The Teamsters were started by, {the Busch family.} 

So. Verdon was just a phone call away to being corporate freight train,{per-say}
