It shows that such a business format remains one of the most interesting and forward-looking. For those who are seriously thinking about launching their own startups, IT-businessman Rafal Szymanski suggests 5 most promising spheres where they will have all the chances to win the market.

E-banking

The first promising industry is fintech, which, strangely enough, many developed countries still have some problems with. It is not easy to create a startup in the banking sphere since the industry itself is highly regulated. For your product to enter the market, it must meet dozens of criteria and undergo a series of tests.

Nevertheless, if you manage to create such a project and pass all the bureaucratic procedures, you will end up a great success. The banking sector is always in need of innovative solutions allowing, for example, speeding up banking operations or making a better life for a bank’s customers. 

Healthcare

This sphere for creating startups will always have global relevance. As it’s probably impossible for healthcare to achieve perfection, it will be constantly evolving. And every initiative that will help to automate at least partially the process of interaction between consumers and medical institutions will probably be successful.

In particular, an interesting product would be an automated system of recording clinic visits, private doctors consultations, and laboratory services usage. As for now, the record of these interactions is scattered. A patient has to look for the medical findings and collect them in different clinics.

And here is a great opportunity to make a very cool and useful product, for example, an application that would automatically gather all the detailed information about where and when exactly a patient has received treatment, what types of analyses were run, and what medication he or she has taken. The idea is really simple, but there is still no such product on the market yet, and it would definitely be interesting both for consumers and medical service providers.

VR games

While it would seem that VR-games are a rather wide and well-developed segment, there’s still something missing on this market. First of all, the games themselves; if you compare the range of games for PlayStation or PC with the ones available for VR systems, you will see the lack of offers.

But a small amount of products is not the only thing to fix here. VR systems still remain a privilege, and making them more accessible is another promising direction to work towards. Those startupers who will be able to make a quality product available to the mass consumer are destined to succeed.

We can see such examples in all industries today, and it doesn’t necessarily mean making cheap copies. Any new technologies can become more affordable over time, and young developers are the ones who can provide a really good product without charging extra for the famous brand.

Another globally promising sphere is e-commerce. If you look at the statistics, you can see that while in many countries people prefer to use mobile versions of websites to shop online, in some regions they still use web-versions instead.

This can be explained by the fact that the mobile e-commerce sphere is still relatively vacant and very promising, especially given the steady and rapid growth of online sales rate. At the same time, many platforms admit that there is a need for a convenient and UX-optimized mobile application that allows users to shop via the smartphone.

Robot couriers

Robotization is an inevitable process for all spheres of life, which makes startups in this sector very promising. In the nearest future, investors’ attention will be drawn to automated couriers for mail delivery, expected to be a huge success among users.

These could be drones or other unmanned devices, even the actual robots will be carrying parcels down our streets pretty soon. Obviously, for small businesses, it’s hard to compete with market giants such as Amazon, so it would be better for them to focus on simpler and cheaper solutions.

So, if there will ever be such a product, it will find its consumer in no time. This sector is still to be developed evenly in terms of geography, but if any affordable initiative will be supported both by those who have already been actively operating in the field of robotics and by those who are just starting to move towards this direction.
