STEVE, I HEARD A COUPLE CHINESE MIGS BEING WARNED OFF FROM THE VICINITY OF A AMERICAN CARRIER A LITTLE WHILE AGO. IT SOUNDED PRETTY INTENSE AND SOME FIGHTERS WERE SCRAMBLED. I THINK THE DISPUTED ZONES THAT CHINA HAVE CLAIMED ARE BEING CHALLENGED ON BEHALF OF JAPAN. I HAVEN’T HEARD THIS HAPPEN FOR YEARS. I WILL MONITOR THIS AS CONDITIONS ALLOW. CHINESE ENGLISH SPEAKING SHORTWAVE STATIONS HAVE BEEN SPEWING ANTI-AMERICAN RHETORIC RECENTLY. THIS TOO IS UNUSUAL SINCE CHINA HOLDS TONS OF AMERICAN DEBT AND HAD BEEN PLAYING NICE BEFORE. I did not think that the diminutive Chinese pilots could reach the pedals. Perhaps there are two pilots in each plane : one to watch where they are going, the other to push the pedals. Just a thought.

I remember before WW2 all the people were for the big bad battleships. They were unsinkable! Carriers were frowned upon and not given much regard. Someone got our attention real bloody quick. I think we are now seeing the same dang thing happening again and we act like we have not learned our lesson. We are arrogant and proud and think we are unbeatable. I think China and Russia have been finding ways to take out our Carriers. The navy is calling the newest Russian subs black holes, because we cant bloody see or hear them and have no clue when they are on our shores. A Chinese sub popped up with in 200 ft of a carrier of ours, just to show us they could and we had no clue they were there and we couldn’t find them when they re-submerged. Remember, the white house admin has stonewalled the FBI’s investigation of our missile defense plans. They were sold to the Chinese and I am sure Russia has them now to. Obama is downgrading our nukes and dismantling them while the enemy has publicly showed they are upgrading theirs. Also, threatening us with nukes. They know Obama will not give command to launch for our defense. Go back a year to that rocket launch off our California coast. Or do you just think that was a Chinese firecracker.
