The Silence of the Pulpits

If you are even slightly awake about the world news today, it is no surprise that Christians are being killed, raped, and brutalized throughout the Islamic world. However, there is a place where you can go to escape the dreadful and relentless details of Christian annihilation by Islam. You can just go to church.
For example, Christians were killed this week in Nigeria. Nothing out of the ordinary — indeed, in the world of Christian persecution, this is routine.
And so the response found in nearly every church to the murder of Christians is…wait for it…complete silence. Not a mention or reference to it, or to the brutality against Christians that happens almost every day in the Islamic world.
This is not a passive silence, because if you try to change it, you will fail. The silence is an active, working conspiracy that goes throughout nearly all of Christendom.
Take a simple example: prayer for the persecuted. From a Christian perspective, this falls under the heading of obvious. Try taking the idea of prayer for the routinely murdered Christians in Nigeria or Egypt to ministers, boards, and any part of the structure of the church, and see how far you will get. You will get rejection with a myriad of lame and evasive excuses, since the people in power fear to recognize the suffering of Christians around the world.

Two stupid men quoting other stupid men-!!
I usually get this outright Muslim hating crap from “stupids” sending on emails that they never put an ounce of thought into. Most people are STUPID! Keep pushing fear to this stupid majority and ” vouila” , in a very short time you can have them eating out of your hand ! Give them a date for doom, or for that matter any type of negativity will do, then just sit back and watch the entertainment, as this author seems to be doing, otherwise he is just one more of the ” stupid” in society!
I grew up in church, Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night…you know the drill…When I was only 11 years old, I had questions that never got answered, at least not at this particular ‘Church of Christ’.
I have read my Bible and realized that, what I was reading didn’t quite mesh together with what I heard in the pulpit.
When I was 16 I told my dad that I couldn’t go to church there anymore, because I didn’t feel like I was getting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. He didn’t speak to me for 2 years. He got over it.
But I guess I never did, I have looked for a church for 30 years and no luck.
I love the people at the Church of Christ, they are really good Bible believing folks, but their pastors will not TOUCH anything that has to do with prophecy.
And right now, prophecy is in full blown fulfillment!
I try to tell the rest of my family, (still Ch of Ch), that all these things that are going on, are exactly that, fulfilled prophecies.
They are clueless, and think I’m a little nuts… after all, I’M the one who quit going to church….heavy sigh… I pray for them, as I’m sure they do for me.
I don’t need a pastor, I have the very words of God in my heart. The LORD is my shepherd.

Well put. we would do well to stay home if our only alternative is a church in name only.
The Restored Church of God has a lot of very interesting teaching; I don’t think it is all perfect, for example they seem to think that the earth revolves around the sun, despite 67 specific scriptures stating the opposite. But you will learn a lot at their website. I enjoyed their free e- book “The awesome potential of Man”, which shows how the gospel of the kingdom is the message the Lord brought with Him, in addition to being our Saviour.
For prophecy, have a look at The Daniel Timeline w/s. It is very hard to argue with the conclusion reached there, which is that the Tribulation begins on 21st March; ie we have only a few months left, which feels right to me, and to a lot of non-believers too, it seems.
Fora little mind-blowing, check out the w/s The Other Bible Code. It is truly astonishing, and will definitely give your faith a major boost. It is even understandable to the unconverted, as it reveals a hidden geometrical reality beneath the Word which is invisible unless you know to look for it.
And finally, The Dallas Morning Show is presented by a young woman who is clearly the Lord’s, and she is very sincere as far as I can tell.

one of the Biggest churches in US- Times Sq Church- nondenominational David Wilkerson’s flagship outlet. Pastors there were approached about Xtians in Syria and had NO interest whatsoever.
