In Sickness and In Health

It’s a law in the UK that a civil wedding cannot have any reference to a religious wedding.

Saying the words, “to have and to hold, in sickness and in health” is a bit too much for a civil ceremony.

Why?

Because these words are used in the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

Instead, the couple, Gary and Louise, had to say, “to hold and have” and “in sickness and when we are well.”

This shows the child mentality of government drones as the wording means the same thing!

The 1949 Marriage Act divorced Christianity from the marriage act.

When God’s people distanced themselves from their Creator, God distanced Himself from His people. As a result, you can see all the ungodly things that have happened in the U.K. since 1949.

In colonial America, civil document were issued from the pastors based on biblical law. In other words, civil documents were written by the Christian leaders of the land.

Many people would say how horrible this is – the church telling the state what to do. BU what were the results? Colonial America was the most blessed nation on earth. There was peace and prosperity, health and happiness.

When Ben Franklin was in England in the 1760s, he was asked by his rich acquaintances, “Do you have poor houses in America?”

Franklin responded, “No, we don’t. If we had, the poor houses would be empty. Everyone is working.”

One day America and other nations of the world will have peace and prosperity – when we return to Yahweh, God’s laws, statues and judgements.
