Judges Order Christians To Work For 'Gays' - Court Rules Photographers Must Violate Religious Faith

Justices on the New Mexico Supreme Court have ruled that the First Amendment does not protect the beliefs of Christians, and owners of a photography company in that state must violate their faith in order to continue to do business.
“The Huguenins today can no more turn away customers on the basis of sexual orientation – photographing a same-sex marriage ceremony – than they could refuse to photograph African-Americans or Muslims,” the opinion from the court said.
“All of which, I assume, is little comfort to the Huguenins, who now are compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives. Though the rule of law requires it, the result is sobering. It will no doubt leave a tangible mark on the Huguenins and others of similar views.”
The stunning verdict came in a case brought by lesbians against Elane Photography. The lesbians wanted the photographer to document their “wedding,” and the photography company declined, citing the fact that to do so would violate the Christian faith of the owners.
Tough luck, said judges Edward Chavez, Petra Jimenez Maes, Charles Daniels, Barbara Vigil and Richard Bosson.
They make clear the company’s option is to go out of business.
New Mexico’s anti-discrimination law, which provides special protections for homosexuals, “does not even require Elane Photography to take photographs. The NMHRA only mandates that if Elane Photography operates a business as a public accommodation, it cannot discriminate against potential clients based on their sexual orientation.”

It is illegal for a judge to be able to order a business who they can or can’t provide services to. Unless it falls under the Civil Rights, Act, which I and this government don’t agree upon. ( I don’t think the Civil Right Act should apply to homosexuality simply because it is a lifestyle,not an ethnic race.) It is out and out tyranny. They should ignore it or fight them more in court. I’m with everyone else, take really crappy pictures.

It’s not a chosen lifestyle. If you think sexual orientation is a choice, then when did you choose to be straight?
What about hermaphrodites, did they chose to have a body like a man and a vagina, or a body like a women and a penus? Truth is it’s entirely the result of natural variation for which other people have no right to exclude anyone from equality and their inherent rights.
You have the right to disagree, you have the right to believe anything you like. You can believe Puff the magic dragon did it for all anyone cares. You do not have the right to victimise or vilify other people.

It’s all a load of bs in any case, nothing but an excuse to be nasty. They are claiming they exclude people from their photo service on religious grounds, but none of them practice what they preach.
I don’t know of a single Christian who practices what Jesus preached. eg the 8 essential criteria for entry into heaven. Follow all the old Israelite laws better than the law keepers, including the over 100 laws on ritual animal sacrifices. Or how about ‘sell everything you own and give it to the poor’, it was so important he said that one twice.
Do you follow what Jesus commanded? Do you know of anyone who does?

The judge needs to be pulled out by his ears and then kicked out of office.
This is the same as saying Muslims must accept Christian teaching in their mosque. In another words anything goes. All belief systems must be suspended and done away with. TOTAL chaos and ignorance is coming from this judge.
