Is there really any doubt?!
On Wednesday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testified under oath that she “didn’t know” whether Obama-care funded abortions. Is this really still a question? Of all people, the person appointed to operate Obama-care should be aware of this reality, especially someone so pro-abortion as Sebelius.
Obama-care forces you to subsidize abortion with Federal Taxes. Between 71,000 and 111,500 abortions per year will be heavily subsidized by taxpayers via federal premium tax credits and Medicaid expansion. Obama-care also provides no opt-out for religious business owners and institutions.
President Obama could not have appointed a more radical, pro-abortion person for this office during his term than Kathleen Sebelius. She has taken a quarter of a million dollars from George Tiller, the notorious late term abortionist who claimed to have killed 80,000 babies! While Governor of Kansas, Sebelius even threw a party for Tiller in the Governor’s Mansion. The party took place in the midst of a criminal investigation of Tiller by the Attorney General’s office.
To add insult to injury, while Governor, Sebelius vetoed a partial birth abortion law passed in the Kansas state legislature. This was overt payback to Tiller who specializes in late term abortions. Sebelius funded her political career on the blood money from aborted babies. This was clearly one of the most offensive appointments that the President has made yet.
So, can we really trust her when she says that she was unsure whether abortion is covered under Obama-Care?
