Does the account of Noah from the Old Testament promise us that God won’t destroy this world again?Many seem to think so and that the rainbow is God’s promise to us that He won’t do that again.Frankly, I am NOT worried about God destroying this world until the Messiah has been here for a thousand years.But can humanity do that task itself?I tend to think not.Jesus says that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars.We are there now.Jesus called the last days the “labor pains” before His coming.I believe this is where we are now.
I don’t see humanity blowing itself up with nuclear weapons. That is NOT going to happen.In fact, I don’t live with fear that some kind of apocalyptic event will end life on this earth, as we know it.I don’t believe the world will be consumed by a black hole.I don’t believe that hurricanes and storms will destroy this planet.In fact, I can go to far to say that earthquakes, volcanoes, and global warming will not destroy this planet.It won’t be destroyed by air and water pollution.Regardless of what we put into our oceans, we are NOT going to destroy the oceans.But the fact is that so far we have done a pretty good job of destroying a good part of this world by what humanity has done to it more in recent years.
But the fact is that what we are seeing is the evidence that we are living in the last days before the Messiah comes.And I am saying and have been saying that the evidence is all around us.Now, in case you haven’t noticed, you are either seeing what you want to see or you just aren’t seeing what I am able to see.The fact is that nations are becoming more dependent on nuclear devices in order to protect themselves from other nations.The thinking is that if one nation becomes the aggressor the other nations won’t have a chance to respond.So, it seems that the nations with nuclear devices seem to be sitting on the one button those nations believe will protect themselves from the threat of other nations.
The Doomsday Clock sits anywhere from a minute to five minutes to midnight and the minute hand doesn’t seem to move much further from the midnight hour than five minutes away.And with the recent events in the Ukraine creating a Cold War between the US and Russia that minute hand has just moved closer to midnight.But the question is how long does the minute hand have to be where it is before it is moved either closer to midnight or further from midnight.I don’t know.I don’t know how much closer the minute hand can get to midnight on the Doomsday Clock.But my guess is that with China threatening war with Japan; North Korea threatening war against the US; Iran threatening to develop a nuclear device and then threatening to use it; and with relations with Pakistan rapidly deteriorating, one might think that at any time the US could be embroiled in a war other than with Russia over the Ukraine.These are just a few of the hotspots on the world without mentioning Syria, the Middle East in general, and even the wars and rumors of wars in various countries, including the US and our wars with Iraq, Afghanistan, and other places all over the globe.
But the fact is that whether one believes that Noah is a real account or not, the fact is that God is NOT going to destroy the world.And He’s not going to allow humanity to destroy this world either.There will always be places where war is evident and imminent.And this says nothing about what is happening in our environment all over the globe.As bad as things can possibly get, the fact is that this world IS NOT going to go away until AFTER the Messiah reigns for a thousand years.So, if you want to know the Truth, I keep thinking that ALL the bad news of this world is really the Good News for those who believe in the coming of the Messiah.And as far as I am concerned even if I AM the ONLY human being who believes this, it doesn’t matter to me because I am so confident in what I am saying that I can say that I KNOW I am right.Peace.Brother Ralphie for The Angels of Life Institute

Jesus preached to not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing = unorganised. To pray in a closet out of sight, not in public showing off like the Pharisees who were a political group. To meet in fellowship anywhere, pull up a log or a rock. To practice all the old Israelite laws better than the law keepers and political Pharisees. To sell everything you own, give the proceeds to the poor and follow him like a disciple, ie living hand to mouth thus proving your belief that your ‘deity’ will provide.
