Psalm 83 is clearly about Israel not about Jews. Two different groups of people. The Israelites were wiped off the face of Earth in 70 CE by the Roman empire, the Jews in Palestine are from Europe. near the caucasus mountain range. They are only Jewish because the king way back when, decided to be Jewish and state enforced it. Judaism didn’t exist when Psalm 83 was written it was invented by the political group of wealthy influential bankers and traders called the Pharisee after 70 CE. The Israelites were not Jewish, Jesus was not Jewish.

We know that God changed the name of Abram to Abraham in Genesis 17:5, and that He changed the name of Jacob to Israel in Genesis 32:28, but nowhere in the Bible do we find where God changed the name of Israel to Jew!
