Second US health care worker tests positive for Ebola
A second health care worker in Texas has tested positive for Ebola, having contracted it from Liberian victim Thomas Eric Duncan who died from the disease.
US health officials say a second test is being conducted in Atlanta- headquarters to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This latest case has raised more questions about US hospitals’ preparedness in dealing with Ebola outbreaks.

Hong Kong police battling activists for control of an underpass in the dead of night sparked public anger with the worst violence since street demonstrations for greater democracy began more than two weeks ago.
Officers armed with riot shields, batons and pepper spray knocked activists to the ground, dragging dozens away, and tore down barricades protesters used as roadblocks around the underpass outside the government’s headquarters.
U.S.-led air strikes intensify as Syria conflict destabilizes Turkey
American-led forces have sharply intensified air strikes in the past two days against Islamic State fighters threatening Kurds on Syria’s Turkish border after the jihadists’ advance began to destabilize Turkey.
The coalition had conducted 21 attacks on the militants near the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani over Monday and Tuesday and appeared to have slowed Islamic State advances there, the U.S. military said, but cautioned the situation remained fluid.
US Pres. Obama claims successes in fight against ISIL
U.S. President Barack Obama is claiming there have already been some sucesses in the fight against the militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
He met with defence ministers from more than 20 countries to discuss better integrating the allies resources.

Supreme Court blocks Texas abortion restrictions
The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday blocked certain restrictions on abortion contained in a Texas state law that abortion rights groups said would have forced all but a handful of clinics to shut down in the state of 26 million people.
The high court granted a request filed by abortion rights groups that puts on hold parts of a federal appeals court decision that had allowed the law to go into effect.
abortion rights advocates said were unnecessary, especially when an abortion is medically induced.
The state argued the requirements in the Texas law would reduce complications and increase patient care.
