There is documentation that Peter ate Bread and Olives with occasional vegetables.. There is documentation that ALL the apostles were vegetarian. It’s even littered in the bible, Daniel refused to defile himself with meat. It’s just a question if one want’s to accept those writings as legit or heresy.
With extinction, there is a chain effect.. If we kill and eat all the ling and sardines, the ecosystem changes which results in extinction of other species.. If we clear the rain-forest for more grazing land, more species become extinct.

As I see it, Peter was a fisherman before Jesus pulled him from his old lifestyle. Then Peter became vegetarian and followed Jesus.
Peter refused to sit and dine with carnists, but Paul preached that GOD called both Carnists and Vegans, but Vegans have “weaker faith”. This message did not reside well with Peter.
Notice in Peters vision, Both clean and unclean animals were shown to him, but Peter replied that He would NEVER eat unclean foods. Clearly Peter knew that so-called “clean” animals weren’t really clean either.
Do I have proof? Well We have the Clementine Homilies, where Clement 1 was trained and selected by Peter. Paul even mentions him as “righteous” in Phil 4:3. And in Clements writings, he backs vegetarianism 100%..
