But if there was one sin above another which called for the destruction of the race by the flood, it was the base crime of amalgamation of man and beast which defaced the image of God, and caused confusion everywhere. God purposed to destroy by a flood that powerful, long-lived race that had corrupted their ways before him.–Spiritual Gifts, vol. 3, p. 64.
Chapter 7 is entitled “The Flood,” and contains this statement:
Every species of animal which God had created were preserved in the ark. The confused species which God did not create, which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the Flood. Since the Flood there has been amalgamation of man and beast, as may be seen in the almost endless varieties of species of animals, and in certain races of men.–Page 75.
But not on the fallen breeding with humans.
Two distinct groups of human beings are presented at the opening of the chapter in Spiritual Gifts, volume 3, entitled “Crime Before the Flood”:

Next comes a description of their evil course of idolatry, particularly their prostituting to sinful ends the gold and silver and other material possessions that were theirs. Mrs. White then observes: “They corrupted themselves with those things which God had placed upon the earth for man’s benefit.”–Page 63. From a discussion of idolatry she turns to polygamy and makes this statement: “The more men multiplied wives to themselves, the more they increased in wickedness and unhappiness.”–Page 63.

DID FALLEN ANGELS HAVE SEX WITH WOMEN TO CREATE THE NEPHILIM?
Some say the “sons of God” are fallen angels, who had sex with women to create the Nephilim, or “giants in the earth.” They do all this by using the following verse…
Genesis 6:4, “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
First, the word “giants” is translated as follows…

נפל נפיל nephîyl nephil nef-eel’, nef-eel’
From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: – giant.
It is obvious where the word “Nephilim” came from that is used in bibles other then the King James. However, it appears the proper definition is more apt to be declaring they were bullies rather then men of gigantic proportions. Or “larger then life” as some are called today. This also shows how the devil can easily distort a single word in the bible to generate a totally different outcome. Back then, the word “giant” had one meaning, today another. The “cultural” changes of language and even slang terms cause people that are unaware of this fact of life to use their own understandings of these words to decipher Scripture. The Word of God is thousands of years old and cannot be defined by today’s languages. To do so is to assume to be able to understand ancient terminology. Without understanding what the words meant to the people in the day it was penned, you cannot possibly know what the truth is on any given topic if in fact that topic carries a word changed by modern man. So be careful when studying the Word of God. It can be a gold mine of wonderful truths if handled correctly.
After researching the word “Nephilim” a little more to close the case on this, I found it to be a word adopted via the Apocryphal book of Enoch which was later placed in Strong’s Concordance and other bible dictionaries as if it was a word used in the original King James Bible. When the word is examined in all formats (dictionary, Strong’s Concordance, Encyclopedias, bible commentaries, etc) it proves the word “giants” in Genesis 6:4 is still better translated using words of today like, “bullies, cruel, terrible, sinister, felons, etc” Only in man’s “opinion” do we hear this strange concoction of demonic monsters raping women. Nowhere in Scriptures does such an account find validity.
Using a time sensitive context viewpoint on this we see that when you look at the meek and gentle people of God in contrast to the, fighters, bullies, and felons of the Nephilim, we find they would indeed appear as giants because of their strange and hateful ways that “overpower” the meek. Something the gentle people of God saw as strange and “larger then life” I’m sure, because being lead of God they would naturally walk in a more loving manner. Scientific fact is, before the flood, all people were “giants” in the true sense of the word by today’s standard. Men were on average 16 feet tall and women around 14 feet. After the flood, mankind lost a lot more then years of life. They lost their magnificent stature as well. To further illustrate my findings regarding the word “giants” in Genesis 6:4. The Easton Bible Dictionary’s first definition of “giants” is as follows…
(1.) Heb. nephilim, meaning “violent” or “causing to fall” (Gen. 6:4). These were the violent tyrants of those days, those who fell upon others. The word may also be derived from a root signifying “wonder,” and hence “monsters” or “prodigies.” In Num. 13:33 this name is given to a Canaanitish tribe, a race of large stature, “the sons of Anak.” The Revised Version, in these passages, simply transliterates the original, and reads “Nephilim.”
If you investigate the word “giants ” in Genesis 6:4 you will find it speaks more of their “attitude” size rather then their “physical” size.
One last thing. As many are aware, we have entered into the last days. History is literally repeating itself in the way Jesus described this earth would be today. It is most assuredly like the “days of Noah” is it not? I can clearly see that there are again “giants” in the land when I look around and see people who follow the way of Cain that are bold in their sin against the Lord and each other. They are again filling the earth with all sorts of sin and violence just like in Noah’s day just before the flood. Their actions are of course bringing on their own final judgment as it was in Noah’s day. The cup of iniquity is nearing the brim speedily. Man is willfully placing their sinful pleasures above God and His peace. Problem is, there is no second chance after this great and dreadful day. When I look around with Christian eyes, I too see “giants in the land.”
As for the “sons of God” in Genesis 6:4 being translated to depict fallen angels. Common sense has to be graphically called upon here to ask the question. Would God call fallen angels the sons of God? Some say the “sons of God” are good angels as well. However, Mark 12:25 says we will be like Angels that can’t “marry” when Heaven starts…
Mark 12:25, “For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.”
So, if the “sons of God” are now good angels in Genesis 6:4, they are now committing adultery and or fornication by having sex with women without marriage.
Who are the “sons of God” according to your bibles? Read the following passages most that preach “sons of God = angels” never seem to share…
John 1:12, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
Romans 8:19, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Philippians 2:15, “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”
1 John 3:1, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”
1 John 3:2, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
Does this series of passages describe fallen angels? Or is it describing the followers of God? The Sons of God were, and still are the people of God. They sinned in that they took women to wife that God specifically commanded against. It’s that simple.

The offspring of the sons of God and human women were the physical giants of old of which mythologies are made of, men of renown.
Aminadab you need to do more studying before making such ridiculous claims. Sons of God in the KJV is the word: Bene Ha Elohim in the original text, which is the same word used in Job:1 and 2, which is obviously referring to angels. Daughters of men is the word: Benoth Adam, which translates to daughters of Adam. This is plainly separating the two. Nephilim is from the root word : Nephal, which means earth born referring to the hybrid beings born from the mixing of DNA from the fallen ones and earthly women, otherwise, why the separation? Why add the word “earthborn” if all they are talking about is men and women? Genesis also states that Noah was “perfect ” in his generations. The word is “tamiym”, which means without blemish, sound, healthy, and always refers to physical aspects when used elsewhere. Why would it matter if Noah was perfect in his generations, if all God was worried about is whether he was living a supposed perfect life? Use some common sense. Satan’s goal from the start was to pollute the geneology of the messiah. After the flood he tried multiple times to set traps and kill key individuals who were to carry the lineage of Christ. You are trying to push the same old tired “Sethian” view of Genesis 6, which does not hold water. Get over it.

I guess you could call an angelic being a representative from another world, but not in the sense that you are suggesting. Satan is a created being. Just another angel. Once upon a time, Nephilim/giants did walk upon this earth, during the time of Noah, and also afterwards. But do Nephilim/giants have parts in the end times?
No, they do not.
Once upon a time, during the time of Noah and also afterwards, there were giants upon the earth:
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives, whomsoever they chose.
3 And the LORD said: ‘My spirit shall not abide in man for ever, for that he also is flesh; therefore shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.’
4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.

Verse 4 in the King James Version reads “giants” instead of “Nephilim”.
The Bible says this of the giants in the promised land:
“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
—Numbers 13:33
Using the grasshopper analogy, if you do the actual math and you go with for example an average grasshopper length of 4 inches for arguments sake and then if you go with 6 feet for the average size of a man, then that would make the giants spoken of in Numbers 13:33 to be upwards of 100 feet tall!
Amos 2:9 tells of a giant Amorite as tall as cedar trees, which can reach heights upwards of, yep you guessed it, 100 feet or so:
“Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.”

Virtually all civilizations on earth have legends of giants. Skeletons of giants have been found in the mounds of middle America. Back in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, newspaper accounts (many from the NY Times no less) tell of some of these skeletons of giants discovered in the middle mounds of America:

However, bones of giants does not fit in with the silly and foolish theory of evolution. And so lo and behold, the Smithsonian scrambled to cover up as much of the evidence as they could for those who worship at the altar of evolution won’t let the facts in the ground get in the way of their religion o no!
Speaking of the giant bones found in the middle mounds of America, it was Abraham Lincoln who said in 1848, the “eyes of that species of extinct giant, whose bones fill the mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara, as our eyes do now.”
But while giants did indeed walk upon this earth and existed during the time of Noah and also afterwards, there are no giants amongst the participants in the end times scenario, be it the manchild of REV 12, the 2 who are one in REV 11, the one called the Destroyer (Abaddon) of REV 9:11 fame (for more on those characters in the end times ensemble in the Book of Revelation see /prophecy/2014/02/the-mystery-of-god-in-the-book-of-revelation-the-two-witnesses-the-manchild-and-the-destroyer-as-you-have-never-heard-them-spoken-of-before-2458894.html?currentSplittedPage=0)
Nor are the beast that arises out of the sea in REV 13:1 or the beast that arises out of the earth in REV 13:11 Nephilim/giants. There are none amongst the characters in the end times script known as the Book of Revelation who are nephilim/giants.
The most misquoted and abused phrase nowadays from chapter 24 of Matthew is the “days of Noah” quote which, when abused and misused, renders itself to mean something above and beyond what Jesus intended, something spooky and kooky. The one thing attributed to the “days of Noah” by Jesus to be used to apply to the Second Coming was the suddenness and rapidity of the flood event. Nothing more and nothing less can and should be attributed to the “days of Noah” in regards to the Second Coming.
Read the following from chapter 24 of Matthew to see the days of Noah quote in context and judge for yourself if what I say is correct:
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
—Matthew 24:32-39
Far be it from any child of God to extrapolate from the “days of Noah” to mean things above and beyond the suddenness of the flood, things such as the sexual intermingling of seed between angels and humans, Nephilim/giants and DNA manipulation and so forth and try and portray Nephilim/giants as participants in the end times ensemble when they are nothing of the sort.
Jesus was comparing the Second Coming to the suddenness, ferocity, voracity, and overwhelming nature of Noah’s flood. The days of Noah reference speaks not to the drama leading up to the end of the age, it speaks to the climactic and cataclysmic exclamation point at the end of the age of mankind as we know it when Jesus comes riding upon the clouds and every eye shall see (see REV 1:7)!
