-Temple of Baal to be Erected on a Pagan Feast Day in New York City?

ISIS destroyed a Unesco World Heritage site in Palmyra, Syria (Temple of Baalshamin)last September (2015). Now there are plans to put up reproductions of the destroyed ancient arch from that site at Times Square in New York City and in London on April 19, 2016 and then later in cities all around the world. The idea is supposedly to bring attention to ancient archaeological sites that are being neglected or outright destroyed by groups like ISIS and the Taliban.

It all sounds good until you find out that the date chosen for the opening, April 19, is also an official occult feast day with roots that go all the way back to the ancient worship of Moloch and Baal. From Charisma News:

April 19 is the first day of a 13-day period of time known as “the Blood Sacrifice to the Beast” that culminates on the high occult holy day of Beltane on May 1.  …

April 19 is also known as “the Feast of Moloch.” If you are not familiar with “Moloch” or “Molech,” it is an ancient Canaanite god that is repeatedly denounced in the Old Testament. Child sacrifice was a key feature of the worship of Moloch, and a giant statue of this pagan deity is set up at the Bohemian Grove in northern California every year.

Is it just a coincidence that reproductions of the arch that stood in front of the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria, are going up in New York and London on the precise day when the Feast of Moloch is celebrated and when “the Blood Sacrifice to the Beast” begins?

Response: It cannot be a coincidence. The fact that it is being erected in public squares with official governmental permission is particularly problematic. It is chilling to say the least that a line is so cavalierly being crossed.

ISIS also destroyed hundreds of ancient Christian churches in Syria and Iraq, some of which go back nearly 2,000 years and contained all sorts of ancient art work. Can you imagine what atheist activists might say or do legally if this international group had decided to put up a representation of a destroyed ancient church in Times Square and erected it all on a special Christian worship day like Easter? Many would be ‘offended’ at the religious display in the public square and there would be all sorts of complaints and legal challenges.

It all gets a pass since it supposedly represents a ‘dead’ ancient religion. But most folks are ignorant of the religious significance that modern pagans and occultists will assign to this event. From their perspective it is an official recognition and an opening of a door to the resurgence of their religion and gods.

Most Americans will probably see this event as nothing but a harmless support for ancient historical ruins. However, from a Christian perspective it can be viewed as a possible official opening of a spiritual door to increased demonic activity in America. Traditionally Christian leaders believed that demonic principalities inspired, supported, and gave power to the ancient pagan religions and gods like Baal.
