Leaving Behind Provincialism

(Before It's News)

I think the biggest problem with Christianity here in the States is that people tend to think about their world very provincially.  It is said here in the US that all politics is local.  It’s how people think here in this country.  Most can’t get out of thinking about their world beyond the signs that mark the city limits where one lives.  This kind of provincial thinking can really drive me up a wall.  We HAVE to see the big picture of the world.  I would suggest this kind of provincial thinking has more to do with religion than it has to do with anything else.  People are very resistent to think about the world as being any other place than where they live, work, and go to church.

I can’t say I have been around to a LOT of places, but at the same time, I have spent my share of time outside the confines of the US.  I know that poverty or lack of opportunity is cause for many people to think and believe the way they do.  Some simply have not had or taken the opportunity to explore what this world has to offer.  I have been told by more than one person that the US has so much to explore, why would they want to go any other place.  The problem with such thinking is the lack of understanding of other cultures this can cause.  And as I said yesterday, the lack of understanding can be one of the main causes for warfare.  We don’t trust what we don’t understand.  And this lack of trust can lead to warfare.

I can’t say what I WILL do once I fully develop into this person I call Brother Ralphie.  I have shared this on other posts on this blog, but as I have said, I am STILL practicing.  I don’t know exactly what I WILL do, but MY thinking is that my Angels are for the WORLD.  I don’t believe my Angels are only for a select few.  It took me a long time to convince those closest to me that my Angels are real.  The problem with this is that I don’t have decades to spend trying to convince others of my Angels or what it is I claim they said to me.  But I am saying that I am a person that doesn’t have the luxury to be provincial in my thinking.  I say my Angels are for EVERYONE.  Knowing what I claim my Angels told me is much different from ACCEPTING what I claim my Angels told me.  I leave acceptance up to each individual and God.  I have had a few readers from Muslim countries.  In fact, I would say those who read my posts come mostly from the US and Europe, while a few from Muslim countries have at least clicked on my blog in addition to a couple from Israel, China, and Russia.

I would suggest that ANYONE who is entrenched in some kind of religious ideological thinking is NOT going to accept what I claim is from my Angels.  Atheism is a form of religion.  ANYONE whose thinking is provincial in nature will NOT accept what I claim is from my Angels.  I can’t help this.  But I have designed this blog site to at least expose the curious to what I consider to be thinking from my Angels.  If I can at least expose the world to the knowledge of my Angels I can relax and let God worry about acceptance.  Because it is as I have been saying all alone, acceptance of the Message is HIS problem and NOT really up to me to convince one single person of a reality that is at least mine.  I am Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Peace. Brother Ralphie works from his study for the promotion of Peaceful living and inner Peace with God. He calls this the “Sanctity of Human Life Movement.”
