Why There Will ALWAYS be Date Choosing

As I prepare for bed tonight, I am thinking about this day that I have had.  Maybe I need to get out more and maybe I need to read more.  Maybe I need to do more of a LOT of things.  But I keep thinking that maybe I SHOULD make MORE predictions.  Really.  Look at this world in which we are living.  How much longer CAN the Messiah wait to return?  And really, a LOT of money is made by those who set dates.  Rev. Miller in 1849 told his congregation to sell all they had and to wait with him on a hillside for the Second Coming of Jesus.  This is called “The Great Disappointment” and the followers of Rev. Miller became known as Millerites that exist to this very day.  There will always be those who will set dates.  The most current date I have seen for the end of the world is July 29, but apart from polar shifts and describing an end of the world scenario there really isn’t much they are telling us about the end of the world. 

Maybe if I spent more time trying to figure out when the Messiah would come, I could keep setting dates and ALWAYS find people who will read what I am writing because these people are looking for answers.  If you are simply fascinated by those who set dates as I am,  you will WANT to know what will happen on that date.  You might be facing some kind of deadline that is causing you consternation.  If you know that the world is going to end on a certain date, then you will feel you really don’t have to do anything for preparation AFTER that date, because the world isn’t going to be here and you will then have reason not to do what you are supposed to be doing.

I COULD say that the US won’t have an election in November and that since our elections are going to be held on November 8 of this year, I could say I don’t have to worry about that because the world is coming to an end on November 7.  What would happen to this world if I made such a prediction and was proven wrong on November 8?  All my credibility for my Angels would go right down the toilet.  Really.  So, I keep saying it because I KNOW there are people that are always going to be setting dates.  It all began with Rev. Miller in 1849.  ALL I am able to say is that I know how the Messiah will judge all nations when He comes.  All of us who have NEVER taken a Human Life have NOTHING to worry about.  That is about all I can say.  But for me to tell people that I have a date in mind for the coming of the Messiah would be irresponsible of me.  This is why I won’t set any dates.  We work as if the Messiah is NEVER coming but believing as if He will come right now.  This is about all I can say about setting dates as Brother Ralphie writing for my Angels from The Angels of Life Institute.  Peace.
