Την Κυριακή 16 Οκτωβρίου 2016 ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Σμύρνης κ. Βαρθολομαίος θα τελέσει την πρώτη Θεία Λειτουργία, ως Ποιμενάρχης, στον Ιερό Ναό της Αγίας Φωτεινής Σμύρνης.

ΕΟΡΤΑΣΜΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΑΓΙΑΣ ΜΑΤΡΩΝΑΣ

Τήν Πέμπτη 20η τοῦ μηνός Ὀκτωβρίου 2016, ἑορτή τῆς Ἁγίας Ματρώνας τῆς Χιοπολίτιδος, ὁ Θεοφιλέστατος Ἐπίσκοπος Ἐρυθρῶν κ. Κύριλλος θά ἱερουργήσει στόν Ἱερό Ναό Ἁγίας Φωτεινῆς Σμύρνης.

Ὡς γνωστόν ἡ Ἁγία Ματρώνα εἶναι ἡ πολιοῦχος τῆς Ἐπισκοπῆς Ἐρυθρῶν καί ὁ ναός της μέχρι σήμερα σώζεται στήν κορυφή τῆς ἀρχαίας ἀκροπόλεως τῶν Ἐρυθρῶν. Δίπλα ἀπό τόν Ἱερό Ναό σώζεται βυζαντινό παρεκλήσιο ὅπου καί ὁ χῶρος τῆς εὑρέσεως τῆς Ἁγίας Εἱκόνος. Ἡ Ἁγία Εἱκόνα φυλάσσεται σήμερα ἀπό τούς ἀπογόνους τῶν προσφύγων στή Ν. Ἐρυθραία Ἀττικῆς.
