-Europe Demands Press NOT to Reveal That Terrorists are Muslims

(Before It's News)

A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) Blamed an increase in hate speech and racist violence against Muslims in the UK on the press. The European Union bureaucrats demanded that the British government clamp down on freedom of the press and force the UK media to refrain from identifying terrorists as Muslims. Here’s the story from Express UK:

The report lays into the British press and urges the government to “give more rigorous training” to reporters.

In the 83-page report, the Commission said: “ECRI considers that, in light of the fact that Muslims are increasingly under the spotlight as a result of recent ISIS-related terrorist acts around the world, fuelling prejudice against Muslims shows a reckless disregard, not only for the dignity of the great majority of Muslims in the United Kingdom, but also for their safety.

“…where the media stress the Muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against Muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators’ motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations.”

Response: So basically the European Commission suggests that the government force the media to ‘lie’ about any Muslim background or Islamist motives of  the terrorists and find some kind of ‘alternative explanations.’ For their part, the new UK government rejected the European demands:

“The (UK) Government is committed to a free and open press and does not interfere with what the press does and does not publish, as long as the press abides by the law.”

In America, the main stream media seems to have already voluntarily put in place something similar to what the European Commission is suggesting. The press in this country seems to suspend all references to any obvious Muslim motivations for terrorists until alternative sources of news on the internet force them to deal with it.

One does wonder if the current administration informally suggested this tact since it seems to be adhered to so completely all across America both by the media and by law enforcement officials. For an example, see this previous post.               *Top

  • the media is mostly owned by just 6 zionist israeli backed if not owned corporations, they have brainwashed the country and christian extremist fundamentalists and co-opted them also for their dirty work. They have supplied millions of cash $ to sindicate their warped agenda, which includes systematically taking over the usa / Its co-conspirators the ziocon lobby twists the arms of democracy to do what their $ want. Its one billion $ vs one man one vote. So now ziocon israelis mossad did 911 then lied to the world about wmd, killing innocent people. Then they silenced complaints by tarnishing innocent people with their mental case patsys and more faked and inside jobs. They extremely hyped up attention unfairly on Muslims, and managed to fool some of the people all of the time. America is stupid, they pay the israelis billions whilst they are enslaved by them, no wonder the world dislikes the arrogant israeli group, the illegal theft of palestine, the dual national thieves, and the criminal apartheid ethnic cleansing. time to boycott and get our $ back
