Another homegrown jihadi attack. An American Muslim shot up three Christian churches in Tennessee but a major area newspaper continues to withhold the fact that he is a Muslim. Here’s the story from Jihad Watch:
A Muslim shoots up three churches and nothing is said about his motive or his Islamic identity. Would the same courtesy be shown a Christian who shot up three mosques? Why the coverup? Who is responsible for it? …
September 27 – October 02, 2016: Shelbyville, TN: Three churches were shot up in the Shelbyville, TN area starting on the night of Sep 27, 2016. …
On October 02, 2016, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Wendell Buchanan, age 30 for the shootings. A check of Wendell Tobias Buchanan’s Facebook page shows that he has been quoting the Quran and demonstrates he is a very vocal follower of Islam.
An October 4, 2016 Shelbyville Times Gazette report on the apprehension of Buchanan noted the seriousness of the charges, but without identifying the ideology behind it…
Response: I am really getting tired of the media cover-ups when it comes to the Jihadi actions of American Muslims. Churches being attacked by Muslims has become an epidemic all around the world since ISIS leaders called on all faithful Muslims to do that very thing. Meanwhile, our officials can not seem to make the connection and the major media refuses to connect the obvious dots. Not only that, they refuse to mention that there might be any dots at all when they leave out the obvious religious motivations .
However, when a Christian pastor decided to burn a Quran the media made it very clear that it was a Christian who was needlessly upsetting Muslims all around the world. Also, if a Christian shot up 3 mosques (and survived) you can bet that his religious ties would be quickly identified for all to see. I have even seen some media hacks identify Christian connections that weren’t really there when it comes to abortion clinic bombings and Timothy McVeigh has been called a Christian since he went to the Catholic Church as a child even though religion had nothing to do with his motives.
Meanwhile, the current administration, along with the FBI , many police officials, and the main stream media, has decided that it would be better for America to ignore any Islamic motivations for home ground terrorism and treat them as isolated criminal acts instead. Unfortunately, hiding our heads in the sand will get us more of the same. *Top
