There Is the One Great Hope

Some of my readers might suggest I was being somewhat lazy this morning by re-posting an article by Deepak Chopra.  But I posted it because there is hope in most of us, because hopelessness is really a kind of despair that can endanger our lives or even the lives of others.  It’s my purpose, I believe to say almost constantly that our Greatest HOPE lies in the Second Coming of the Messiah.  I live with this hope every single day.  And my thinking is that if the Messiah doesn’t come today, then I have work to do until the Messiah comes.  I consider myself to be like a canary in a coal mine.  Except that I am not gong to die if things get too foul.  Some might say that because I live in the US, I don’t have as much to worry about as some who live in other parts of the world.  In a way, I understand this, but I consider myself a citizen of the world.  As long as I am alive, the world isn’t going to be blown to oblivion.  There are those who believe their great hope is to be removed from this world BEFORE the Tribulation Period begins.  I know I keep saying this over and over, but in my lifetime I have seen the Tribulation come and go.  There have been those who might be reading this who have been born during this time and so, they repeat what they have been taught about the Great Tribulation Period, believing in the Rapture, because it has not yet taken place.  Let me repeat what I have been saying:  There will be NO Rapture. 

I have been saying that ALL biblical prophecies have been fulfilled EXCEPT for one single event.  That event is the Second Coming of Jesus.  This is the Great Hope I want to pass on to ALL my readers and to EVERY person who could possibly hear or read what I have to say.  Relax.  The world is NOT going to be destroyed.  At least, not yet, anyway.  After the Messiah reigns for a thousand years, then the old heaven and the old earth will be destroyed and God will create a whole new earth and heavens.  We who belong to Him will live eternally in a new world without Satan and his demons.  It is the will of Satan that EVERYONE would lose hope.  It’s  my task as I see it to keep the Great Hope alive in EVERY person UNTIL the Messiah does come.  A world of chaos is not really bad news.  Jesus says that the Last Days will be like a woman in labor.  First the labor pains must come.  We are there now.  The Labor Pains as described by Jesus is this period of Chaos which marks the Apocalyptic Age in which we are now living.  I am saying that even if for some reason you should lose your life, just remember that if we knew what heaven was like we would be falling all over ourselves trying to get in.  Satan would have you not believe me.  I have said that Satan’s Great Lie is to teach that God will forgive the sin of murder.  He won’t.  And since suicide is the ultimate act of hopelessness, Satan would prefer that you lose all hope and thus take your life.  I am saying that we have EVERY reason to remain hopeful.  It’s because the Great Hope of the Second Coming is what will sustain us UNTIL this prophecy is fulfilled.  So, do NOT lose Hope.  Regardless of what we observe around us, do NOT lose Hope.  It is my task as I see it to keep the Great Hope alive.  I will live to see the Messiah come.  As long as I am in this world, God won’t allow us to destroy it one way or another.
